Aim of session: to explore attitudes to knife carrying
An ‘on the move’ agree/disagree discussion that can be facilitated at a social distance, based on the discussion ‘Knives are Bad?’ found in NKBL’s main practitioner toolkit Sharper Solutions (page 52). Watch this example of youth worker Jack McLean facilitating this exercise with pupils from Craigie High School in Dundee. Jack works for Basketball Scotland as a Social Impact Officer and has customised the activity to include a basketball.
This video was filmed in collaboration with Basketball Scotland to support No Knives, Better Lives practitioner training. It demonstrates NKBL activities run in real-time with young people.
