NKP 765: Steam in the Valley 2021 (Featuring WWII-Era Nathan Six Chime!)

After a long two years, Steam in the Valley has finally made its return! Seeing NKP 765 again was the best experience ever, especially with the new whistle she was wearing. It was a WWII-era Nathan Six Chime. In this video, we see that whistle being used all the way till the two final clips. The final clips were actually from the first day of Steam in the Valley on September 3 when she was wearing the whistle of NKP 700. Enjoy the video!

I think the last two clips is when she was wearing the WW2 era six chime whistle and the rest of the video wearing the brass six chime which sounds more like the 80s and 90s whistle slightly tuned different.

That’s what I thought at first but actually the last two clips was a whistle from NKP 700. The other clips was a whistle from the WWII era from an unknown NKP engine

I thought those monsters hauled freight. That horn could wake up the dead. Why the diesel at the end? What is the purpose of passenger trains without passengers. Put this beast to work with a mile long freight load.
