‪@pbartmess‬ was messing around with a Lorenz attractor and the graph on his oscilloscope reminded me of a Hypster video I saw long ago which made similar looping squiggles on a scope. I think it's doing a similar function. Anyway, I'm using Sequence 8 to control its Frequency, and CV from the 8-Bit Cypher to control Gain and Damping, both of which influence the pitch as well as the timbre. Trigger Riot is clocking the whole thing & triggering Skis to bite off pieces of Hypster's output into discrete notes. Remaining triggers are used to play NOON because the patch needed something else...

This synth is truly unusual Joshua! Your eurorack system is also crazy!

Thanks for dropping by! It took a long time to get all of those modules together.

Nice one, Joshua! It's like walking in a jungle! Parrots sing, frogs croak and gorillas beat their chests! 🦜🐸🦍

Now that you mention it, NOON's sonic palette does remind me of animal noises...

I think I hear what the Hypster is doing and yes the sound is identical!! I like those little squirrelly moments of chaos. Nonlinear Circuits make such interesting modules. It's so enticing to be offered the chance to change four different dimensions of sound.

I used to have more NLC modules but some of them are so esoteric I couldn't figure out a good use for them. The Hypster and the Cypher are great. Divide & Conquer is useful but not weird.

Its prwtty awesome that this musical gear can be in sync with external gear....i really likw...have you had any trouble syncing before and is it like 100 in sync with any bpm?...i think i want one..& I'm referring to the Noon

NOON is driven by triggers / gates / envelopes / CV. It doesn't have its own internal clock. If your trigger source is in sync, then NOON will be in sync. Each channel has its own trigger in, and there are 8 of them, so to use it you will need a clock source with multiple outputs, like Trigger Riot or Pamela's New Workout. How many outputs does Ornament & Crime have?

@JoshuaKennedy321 Ornament and crime has four output...very basic though. But it's still an output... also have the mutable instruments marbles clone.... But as far as a steady clock those two would be the ones I would use
