The Northern Lights Drum & Bugle Corps is proud to present our 2023 program entitled "Cathedral"!
Journey with us as we travel from Köln to Moscow, past to present, from the defeat of Napoleon to the submerged myth of the Ville d'Ys in mediaeval Brittany. "Cathedral" explores the mind of the clergy, in awe-inspiring architecture and music from both the vocal tradition of monastic believers and maximalist orchestras alike. In the heavily prevalent theme of "from darkness comes light", the Northern Lights Drum & Bugle Corps seeks to leave audiences wonderstruck as if staring up at the towering spires of the Church of Saint Peter!
With music by Debussy, Tchaikovsky, and Wagner arranged by Shawn Lee and Jordan Roberts. Visual and drill design is by Chase Kapteyn.
