dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you are stoned like me atm then you can watch pretty much all of the new movies on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my gf for the last couple of days xD
@@atlas4xtrm12 she stated forever ago that she used to sing in a higher tone (and she did, you can look up her old songs or performances under lizzie grant) and that one of the reasons that she began to sing in her lower register is so that people would "take her more seriously"
a lot of people give lana shit for getting surgical enhancements and whatever and personally i dont think theres anything wrong with that. if you can change it - do it if it makes you happy. my point is she looks like a doll and i love her and admire her for doing what she wants with her life no matter what people say.
She is so beautiful just everything about her, her whole aesthetic was just drawn out from the 60s. Classic. Beautiful soul. Had to come watch this interview again after years.
I like well done fake lips :) and if you're not going to be nice about it, please leave my post and continue on with your day. Thank you, have a nice one
for me it's how soft and delicate both of their voices are. And also the way they both present themselves, very classy and proper. I love Lana and Marilyn very much 💕 such beautiful ladies inside and out 💞
I like how not only is Lana Del Rey gorgeous but she also is just a really interesting person with opinions and different views on life and love. Not just a pretty face or voice but beautiful person, too :) Lana is bae
"I have met this guy and I was really struck by him visually .. and when it became clear that we couldn't be together anymore I just knew in my heart that I would still honor that relationship for a long time it was just like living in the memories of the best of the past" ❤️
She's literally an angel on earth. Beautiful voice, both singing and speaking, gorgeous face, gorgeous hair, gorgeous body, gorgeous soul, gorgeous everything gah I wish I could be her or at least have a convo with her
@@elmiyk I'm so confusing something about her is so info the bottled up emotions her way of writing her rebellious art.....we gotta hv her attempt the mbti test like really
She reminds me of Jim Morrison, at the beginning both used their looks and alluring personalities to spread their music, then the media & audience created an image, but no one really can live up to an image. They both evolved and changed , kept making music, but people kept expecting that image to come back. And later they realised that the audiences didn’t focused on the music but rather looks and media presence (which is sad) . I am glad that Lana doesn’t let those people get to her. She overcame her alcoholism, and depression, got better at songwriting and now she has distanced herself from the media and releases her music with no promotion as if it was a test to find out who are her real fans.
Her sister has almost an identical nose too her I don't believe its surgery, but if it is who cares its her life and Sam is still allowed to like her nose it is cute
RedLotus Assassin yeah her too. but she's from barbados. i've noticed that people from other countries (barbados, england, etc.) sound american when they sing.
I truly think that as a artist in this day and age where everyone is singing about love and breakups, she stands out the most as the most creative songwriter and singer. Even though I'm not one to be into love/relationship type songs, Lana's are always on my playlist. I'm just now discovering her unreleased music and I'm loving it. Go Lana ❤️
like that she does not hide the fact that she is just an average girl with average drama in her life. apart from the fact that she has the talent to touch people with her voice.
god... her voice when she's talking is insane. Seems like she's so fragile, tiny and completely broken, but at the same time she has this strong sensuality. Idk, Lana just seems to me a piece of art moving in slow motion.
theres something about her, the way she talks... she seems so genuine, theres no pretention to her. like she seems relatable but at the same time so otherworldly and ethereal, shes too beautiful for this world
Ugh, and I have the complete opposite reaction, in that she reeks of nothing BUT pretend fabrication when I hear her speak. She seems as fake as her lips. Her whole aura is so self conscious and just plain weird. Finally, after choosing like four different stage names, she found one that stuck. So much about her is cultivated and curated.
@@sugar_plum_fairy oh, excuse me. I didn’t wait for my formal invitation to give my opinion. Oh, wait, it’s RU-vid. Anyone can say whatever the F they want on here 😂
@@serenitybeats1677 Lizzy Grant, May Jailer, etc. etc. That’s what. Look it up. The various names are as staged and crafted as her persona, voice and fake lips.
Everything she does is so classy. I know some of her music doesn't always portray that, but look at her and HER only. Her voice? Classy. That little hand movement? Classy. Her hair? Classy. Outfit? Classy. Everything she does is so, classy.
her voice is so calming, it reminds me of something you'd hear in the hippie era. that's nothing bad either btw, its just everyone in the hippie era had sort of calming voices like this :)
It's funny how most people talk about how her voice is different, or if her lips are real, or that she's so beautiful (I'm not saying she's not). It's like half the people here aren't even listening to what she says.
She seems like a such a sweetheart, so shy and sweet. I *hate* how most everyone only seems to talk about her looks. Whether or not she had surgery is totally irrelevant AND none of your business. Why are so many people so shallow?
I've listened to born to die literally hundreds of times. The intro still gives me goosebumps and occasionally tears. I especially love a slowed down version too
I remember one time in an interview she was talking about Heart Shaped Box. She was at her friend's birthday party and she walked past a room with Heart Shaped Box playing on the TV. And I remember her saying "I looked into his eyes, and I didn't know what it meant, but I somehow understood." And never in my life have I ever related to something so much because that's exactly what I felt towards her. Can someone help me recall that interview?
Lana's voice is dramatic and melodic. She sounds like a sweet kid when she speaks, but her songs lyrics show the mature woman she is. I could listen to her speaking and singing forever. ❤️
I find it really awkward that she considers Eminem the "master" of his genre. Like that kinda makes me wanna die. I also find it really awkward that her musical heroes are only the "masters", I think she means "most mainstream"
Luch Stefano Yeah of course she can listen to anyone she wants to where did I say she couldn't? Eminem isn't the master of rap hahaha he white washed the genre! It's gross that people consider him the 'master' of hip hop, what a joke, its the same old boring story of privileged western white men claiming something that isn't theres and getting credit for it. No respect at all
Hope Slater I'm sorry, since when is the definition of the rap genre "underpriviliged black males singing about hardships"? Or since when are black people the only ones allowed singing it? People think it isn't racism when you pull this kind of shit with white people since they're not a minority, but guess what? It still is, even if you're white yourself. It's like me saying "lol black people trying to play the piano and classical shit, sup with that? Everyone knows that the founders of that genre were priviliged white males, so they better stay away from that and stop claiming something that isn't theirs". Ridiculous. How about stopping the hate? It's people like you that contribute to the fact that segregation amongst races and cultures still exists today. Saying stuff like this doesn't make you a bigger, more hardcore fan of rap, just makes you plain racist.
Bernardina Dicaprio Hahahahahaha no...no....it really *really* isn't. Why? Because white people have never been marginalised. White racism doesn't exist don't be so fucking ignorant. (Also: "since when is the definition of the rap genre underpriviliged black males singing about hardships"...uh...always? That's the point?) If you have a marginalised section of society that find a way to celebrate their hardship and wider culture, you can bet your ass that a white guy is going to steal it and everyone's gonna get bitchy when you accuse them of being the privileged appropriator that they are, because, as always, white guys are in fucking charge. If racism wasn't an issue anymore - fine - cool, sure, make the 'master' of hip hop a white guy. But it's not, and so deifying him as the 'father of rap' is not only stupid and ignorant, but fucking racist as shit. This is something that as a white western woman I cannot understand, but I would not dare overstep my territory because I can recognise my birthrights.
Luch Stefano Yeah I did mean racially. I wasn't for a minute saying white people shouldn't rap. What I was saying was that to call Eminem the 'master' of rap is really problematic and I find it really offensive considering the roots of the genre (jazz and blues, for goodness sake!). Artists like Lil Wayne are a different issue, there's a difference between bad hip hop and whitewashing hip hop. It's cultural appropriation and I stick by this until racism is a thing of the past - at which point there could hypothetically be a white 'master of rap'. But it isn't. Black people are still marginalised and so it makes shit like this really offensive :)
Luch Stefano Eminem has actually sold more albums than Tupac. And to Hope Slater, Eminem could definitely be considered a master of rap genre. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 wasn't his best work, but listen to The first marshall mathers lp, or The Eminem Show. Every track is fire on those albums. Don't hate because he's white. Oh, and he's BY FAR the most feared and respected rapper alive. Rappers know they would never stand a chance beefing with Eminem.
Eminem is such a tool he raps about punching Lana when Lana had come out on several occasions beforehand and mentioned she was a huge fan. Probably why he mentioned her actually. He loves to hate on unsuspecting women who have done nothing to harm him.
Seeing more recent interviews and coming back to this one... Huge difference, this was definitely a persona she adopted for the sake of her artistic appearance
It’s not a sort of fake persona, it’s like drama or theatre, you come into a sort of otherworldly aura when you rise and you take on different mannerisms and ways of being.
Whoa, I've always considered Born To Die, Video Games and Blue jeans my favorite out of her music. I even made a playlist consisting only those three. What a coincidence.
If she's calm and relaxed doesn't mean she's bored. She doesn't have to be full of all this energy and enthusiasm. That's the way she is, relaxed and calm. Chill.
She reminds me a lot of myself. A lot of scars and a lot of heartaches yet when we want to talk about everything we feel it just blocks and refuses to come out, so the only way we can overcome the emptiness and convey our feelings is through something else. I do it through drawing, singing sometimes. She does it through the most brilliant skills ever...she is very touching and has that...classic vintage feel about her. :)
