Shannyn Sossamon is actually Jenny Lee Lindberg's sister and she was their first drummer. And then, current Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer was their drummer, and now Stella is the current drummer.

@SoulMulisha There sound is really more Cocteau Twins than Throwing Muses. Not to mention combining influences is not the same as not being original. The Beatles were influenced by dozens of artists but no one would accuse them of not being original.
i think they just get with interviews and getting asked the same question so they act goofy to entertain themselves..thats what id do anyway. they also share a lot of inside jokes.
@bigstereo i talked to him for ten minutes at the last troubadour show haha. hes a pretty cool guy but you have a lot of competition. hes dating jenny lee and theres chicks pulling him aside every other minute. imagine, this is before he actually tours with rhcp and becomes one of the better known guitarists of the world.
@bigstereo josh klinghoffer only did one song of theirs called billie holiday. pretty sure hes only part of the video for elephants and not actually on the song itself.

In Brazil, for instance, there is no such thing as Valentine's Day. The equivalent would be "Dia dos Namorados" (Lover's Day), and it's on June 12th. How can u not know that? :-) (kidding)

Its such a shame. Their music is really good, but once they open their mouths it makes me think really different from where their lyrics come from. I can't believe that they all said that their motto was 'black guys in preschool' and then suddenly after, they were all embarrassed...because it was problematic. Im sick of the needless rambling and problematic statements.
