Im sorry to say that what message are you giving to new muslims. This free mixing of opposite genders is against quran and sunnah. Without adhering to commandments of Allah and sunnah of rasullah, no event can be islamic. You could have managed to make this event shariah comlaint if there was seperate place for men and women. And what is the need to show faces of women, and some are not even in thier proper hijab.

Even Prophet (SAW) said obey your Parents but when they order you something against Quran and Sunnah, dont follow them. If you have some authentic Hadith about your claim then quote full hadith with reference. I can quote you Ayah and hadith to support my comment. One more thing there are thousands of practicing muslims in USA who adhere completely to orders of Allah including proper hijab of women and segregation of men and women etc, USA never says that it is the law of USA to have intermingling of sexes. Ana remember one thing, shariah does not mean Saudi arab law, it is the law of Allah for whole universe including USA. mind it.

yes there r thousands of practicing muslims in USA but none r say it because more care about there family and lives rather then stick there nose in sum one else life
