Masquerades are one of the oldest traditional and cultural events amongst the Efik of Cross River State, Nigeria. Masquerades are deeply rooted in the traditional religion and are accompanied with chants, songs, and dances.

Nnabo music is not appropriate for weddings. I recommend songs from Highlife musicians, Chief Inyang Henshaw, and Chief Peter Effiom. You can look them up to get permission to use their music. The Efik afrobeat artist Iyanya has a song called "Ufan" that is great for weddings. You can contact him on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I hope this information will be useful to you.
