I have to agree with you about Ellis Clark. I always go straight to them. I asked him one year why they were so cheap. He replied that he had just bought in a huge collection for the show. He got it at a good price so he was selling it at a good price. Great attitude.
I am already trying to think of something to do for the Wibbly Wobbly Wagon Challenge.... I think its a great idea to get the kids involved also.... Looks like you scored a few good items from the Exhibition.
Hi Andy twice in one video we see you lol. Great video mate and thanks for the tip off about MCC I did visit and got a new bachmann coach with lights £30, 60% off retail couldn't resist. Thanks again atb Andy
Hi Andy - I enjoyed the video and you have got a nice haul of stuff . Ellis Clark do charge very competitive prices and I was hoping toget some bargains from them at GETS but like the layouts I couldnt get near their stand !! Warley seems to have a lot more room than GETS where you can move around and get to see the stands and layouts . I might look at Warley next year and see if I can get some advanced rail tickets . Keep Safe ..........................Cheers Kev
Hello Andy, great to see you on your video. Warley looked a great show glad you grabbed a few bargains especially the narrow gauge wagon. Enjoy the wagon challenge with your granddaughter and keep the great videos coming.
Hello. Glad you had a good time at Warley. I visited on Saturday and came back with everything I wanted and Christmas present in the form of a Class 08 I saw on the Grimely Times stall. When I saw it was 20% off I couldn't resist. I was pleased that the hall was expanded to make it easier to move around after last year. Only small issue I found that was there wasn't enough seating. I just wish the NEC could have added extra tables and chairs in the space near where the toilets were at the back. All in all though, a really good show.
Next year when you come you are always welcome to grab a seat in the club stand. That was my area to manage this year and the seating is padded with carpet flooring and a TV. it’s a bit like home 🤣 but seriously you’re always welcome to grab a seat and table in that are (6a) it’s always by the entrance All the best Andy
So many things about this video, but just seeing you in the full in the layout room and getting a nice view from a distance was very rare and very cool. Great pick-ups. And it must have been quite a show and exhausting for those working it! Cheers and warmest wishes!
I’ve had to book today off work to get some rest 👍 I’m sort of getting a bit more confident in front of the camera so we will see how it pans out. All the best to you and the family Andy
Hi Andy. I was going to say hello but I missed you. I purchased from MCG two coaches at a bargain prices. That twin pack was a steel at £54 last year, I paid £70 on eBay. I didn't bother with Clarke as it was always busy. The yellow end box wagon was another steel at the price.
That MK2f coach is NOT dcc ready. All of the gubbens (lights, switch at the bottom) are not in there. I bought the same from the same supplier at the show - should have got the DCC fitted one in hindsight!
Hi Andy I really enjoyed my 2 days at Warley, even though it was so busy on the Saturday, the Sunday was great to just walk around and see anything. I also got a couple of bargains from the MCC stall and will go there again if they start attending other shows etc. Looking fowards to next year already...lol. Thanks
Hi, great haul of rolling stock you have there, i'm gutted i missed Warley this year.......covid got the better of me, i've seen so many great videos about it, next year if all goes well i will attend for the first time, if all goes well i will give the great electric train show in Milton Keynes a miss as i didn't really enjoy it this year, Alexandra Palace is on my to do list next year for the first time, thanks for sharing.
I was eyeing up for that MK2F coach I was as that price was great which I am hoping they will be there next year also you had some good bargains from Ellis Clarke and it was nice chatting to you at the show
Good video. You did well with your purchases from Warley. May go next year. Think of joining West Midlands n gauge. Anyway, bye for now, take care, stay safe and have fun.
Hi Carl 👍 I still can’t believe how cheap they was selling some Of the items. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Keep safe and well my friend Andy
