As a WSU fan historically you should always fear UW. No matter how the teams are the Cougars seem to lose 😅

Fortunately for me, overall in the series, UW has had the Cougs number, but there have also been times in seasons past where WSU completely derailed everything for the Huskies lol. And the Cougs are no joke this year. Neither is Oregon State. Hope you guys can save the PAC. I really wish my team wasn’t leaving. It’s heart breaking. Sad that college ball is literally all about the money now, and the networks have so much control.

Last years Apple cup was off the hook. Lol. Probably the best one I've ever watched in the 24 years I've been paying attention. Cameron Ward and Penix were literally driving down the field with ease and scoring over and over and over. The glaring difference was in O-Line play. My family is Huskies fans while I've always been a Coug. But even my cousin was blown away at how Penix had ALL DAY to throw the ball in the apple cup and seen ZERO pressure. But Cameron Ward was running for his life. Coming up with insane acrobatic maneuvers and throws/runs on nearly every down almost like the way Russ would early in his career where he would be playing backyard football. Ward has that IT factor where he's gonna make something happening with our without blocking. If we beefed up the O-Line this year the Apple Cup is sure to be a insane classic for us all to see 💯. Possibly better then last year's. And the Cougs are playing with the biggest chip on thier shoulders after being snuffed and left with Oregon St. As the only Pac-12 teams (Pac-2 technically now) as if they weren't good enough so they have a "US against the world" mentality and boy does it show. Might be the best team the cougs have had since Ryan Leaf took them to the Rose Bowl if not at least since Garder Minshew had us at #8 when he played

Cameron Ward is so overlooked it's INSANE bro. I've watched football my entire life both NFL and NCAA for 24 years. I've watched some of the greatest play in both college and pro. Cameron Ward is one of the most physically skilled and aware QB's I've ever seen. He makes plays that leave my jaw on the floor at times. And the only person I know who does similar style of play is Patrick Mahomes and no I'm not saying Ward is as good as Mahomes or will be. Just that the manner in which he plays and how he does these unorthodox throws and runs and his ability to dodge tackles with ease shifting in the pocket never losing focus on throwing down field is Mahomes esk. Last year he made a play where he broke out of the pocket and started stumbling to the ground and somehow as he dove he was able to shovel pass the ball 10 yards on a dime to the running back while in mid air and it went for like 30 yards. It reminded me of Mahomes Super Bowl toss when he threw a dime while diving. All I know is because he's a Cougar this kid is being MASSIVELY overlooked and under-rated... If he was playing for Alabama or Texas the whole world would know his name and he'd be heavily talked about. But he's relatively unknown. Only the announcers who do cougs games know about him and they all say he looks like a future Sunday QB 🙏 He was a 0 star recruit btw. Making his talent and progress even more impressive. A kid NOBODY thought was good out here absolutely MURDERING it carrying a team with lesser talent to big heights.
