It was sure hard watching this sweet Blown 32 Ford get into the guardrail at the Kansas International Dragway 'No Prep Mayhem' event. Luckily the damage was minimal and the car should be back out soon.
Man that had to hurt! Beautiful 32 Ford car. After it's fixed,I'd never race it like that again, just use it to cruise the streets with as well as auto shows.

Firstly, the surge is caused by the fuel mixture. You are hearing the idle surge not the cam duration. secondly, I never said anything about computers. Blowers have been around decades longer than computers and people have managed to tune them properly.
"Felt like a good pass till it started going wrong", looked to me as though it started going wrong pretty much straight away. To bad be didn't lift his foot and forfeit the pass.
Yes, the one thing I've learned from these videos is to scrap the pass as soon as the car gets out of control. At least this beautiful car didn't take a roll and most of it wasn't hurt.
I watching the front wheels after he crossed the center line. No left to turn back to center. He went straight in guardrail. ??? Glad the driver is ok, but my heart goes out to him.
I hope that crash was as light as it looked. Doesn't look like a total loss. I'd hate for any group of racers to lose that kind of variety at their events.

What happened to stepping on the brake pedal and locking up the tires before you hit the wall I didn't see any tires locked up at any time he just rolled right into the wall
No prep is good for those who don't own a race car and are standing looking at the races. Oh yeah is all awesome! No prep rules!👍 but for those of us who work hard for our money to race a family and yet have a race car, no prep is just a stupid thing to do. You can't put all the power to the ground and if you do then you are slipping and sliding crashing your car into the wall and for what! Then you stand there looking at your car while people will come and say things like oh man that was intense or im sorry about that man that is a nice car but the bottom line is that nobody is going to give you a fucking penny to fix it and they will go home and have a good night sleep while you are sleepless thinking that going to no prep was a bad idea and how you are going to come up with the money to fix it fast. Not worth it IMO. Some of this guys make good money from the show and if they crash they can come back easy but most of us don't have that luxury. Prep the track and lets see some good competition cars against them. Now that would be a show.
I love it you control it with your foot and puts everybody on the same level. And its a race car and nobody is a real race car driver with out crashing
That's what happens when you race beautiful classics like this! If you want to race seriously, use a body that isn't a possible collectors item. If this was a fox body, nobody would give two shits.
Do your homework.There are more 32 Fords registered in this country that were ever produced,tens of thousands,what makes you think this was not a flop???????
I'm guessing there's not a single actual 32 Ford part in that car. I.e., aftermarket fiberglass body and grille shell, race chassis, Chevy motor and trans, etc.
@@herman452 I'm with you on that. Reading the comments are quite funny. People so upset over this thing crashing. I doubt there is one part thats original. You can build an entire model A with aftermarket parts.
