I thought the best was two plays---when Bama took over on downs at their 27 yard line with 37 seconds left in the half, and scored a TD on two long pass plays in 16 seconds. That gave them a 21-3 lead and effectively ended the game at halftime.
I love hearing Gus Johnson call games! As a Bama fan, I do not get to hear him call many Alabama games. I think this is only the 2nd Alabama game he has ever announced (Texas in 2022 & Wisconsin in 2024).
The more I see Ryan Williams the more he reminds me of Devante Smith. He’s so quick and catches passes just like Smith. He will be a Star no doubt!! Roll Tide Roll!! Milroe played very good today. Proud of him and hard far he has come!!
That is a good comp but Holly wood is just different. He’s the kind of guy to make the biggest plays, in the biggest games , at the biggest times. He’s also much younger than any receiver we have had be this effective. When Devontae caught the pass for the ship from Tua he was almost 2 yrs Older. All are great but Hollywood , if he stays healthy will be best Bama receiver in history.
Think about what LeBron's build looked like when he was 17. That kid is almost certainly still growing and probably has another couple inches and about 30lbs of muscle he can still put on. Ryan Williams is 6'0 174 Lbs. He could end up being like 6'2 200-205 easily. Even if he doesn't get any taller, 6'0 190lbs by the time he gets to the NFL wouldn't be a challenge.
@@tonythetiga4697 saying that one person could potentially grow and be the same kind of player as julio isn’t really comparing EVERYONE to Julio but……….ok🤷🏼♂️
@@loganthrift11He’s 17 and obviously could still get taller but just looking at his frame, he’s more than likely not going to look or move like Julio. He looks like a special player regardless.
Alabama may have played their best game today. Jalen Milroe looked great in the passing game and the running game. The defense after giving up a TD earlier in the day was stifling throughout
Yeah. The biggest difference was just the discipline and lack of mistakes. They had so many drive killing and dumb mistakes in their last game. All they need to beat most teams is to not shoot themselves in the foot constantly. They outmatch most teams physically and talent wise. They really don't have to "win" most games. They just have to not "lose" them.
@@e2rqey Remember, last game they used a patchwork line on offense as the starters are banged up. Upon the return of the starting right tackle last game in the 4th quarter is when they were able to run at will. They have a good line but not the depth of years ago. Player management.. is key.
yeah they are just physically better than most teams at most positions. Most teams aren't able to recalibrate to the speed at which their players move quick enough. so they end up taking bad angles and missing tackles. by the time they start to compensate they are already down like 3TDs. When they move that fast the margin for error in coverage and on defense in general is soo much smaller. much less having to run an offense again a team where your players are physically outmatched at almost every position, if not literally every one. Every one of their players is as good or better than the best player(s) on your team. all your players muscle memory for tackling angles is suddenly wrong. the distance of separation that your QB considers "open" is wrong. and that's if your receivers can even get separation in the first place, and if the separation is actually real and not just the DB playing slightly more off than they should, to try and bait the throw. The distance where your QB thinks there's no way that safety playing the deep half can make it to the ball in time. the height at which the QB thinks he needs to throw the ball to get it over a linebacker or over the defensive lineman running at him. the QBs mental clock on how long he has to throw, or how long his line will hold up....all of those are suddenly different and things are happening way too fast to rely on anything but feel for most of those.
I'm Alabama fan, however I want to point out that on Wisconsin's TD drive, the badgers ran the ball very effectively. In Bama we love the Badgers because they are a smash mouth, run it down your throat type of team. They are a good team, we just had too much talent. I wish the Badgers the best of luck with the rest of their season, hope they win them all. You have to admit, Wisconsin is a class act. Kudos to the coach and team both.
Ryan William's game is definitely alot like Devonta Smith. They both run with little effort a thing of beauty. Can't wait for him to really turn on the jets.
@ElijahRudolph1: In 1978 Mike Bell, Mark E. Bell, and Mark R. Bell Played for The Colorado State Rams. In 1979 All THREE Bell Brothers were Drafted on the same Day!🐏🏈B.W.
Thought it was next week ? Didn’t realize both teams are taking their bye weeks before that game 😢😢 Just give them more time to prepare for a rebound after getting stomped! RTR!!
So... Who was the moron who decided that it was "legal" to NOT actually have "Knee Pads" on the Knee? I've been watching that for a few years now, and it's just NOT acceptable. When I played Football Knee Pads SAVED my Knees MANY times. And I almost BET you that Wis QB's Knee would NOT have been hurt had he been wearing actual Knee Pads ON the Knee where they belong. I would be interested in seeing the MANY Knee Injury's since they stopped requiring Knee Pads....
That was a borderline non-contact (Not a helmet to the knee etc) injury likely an acl or mcl tear (or both/more ligaments) Knee pads arent saving that injury from happening possibly even a sports brace wouldn't prevent it.
Knee pads would have helped in this situation. He might not had even been injured. It might have hurt but his knee wouldn't have been injured nearly as badly.
Bama and Georgia both saving up for each other! What a weird game by Georgia today! They’re saving it all they know they could win without their full effort !
Let's be real, if Wisconsin had any chance at making this game competitive, it certainly went out the window after Van Dyke's injury. Locke cannot keep up with this bama offense, especially not with Ryan Williams and Jalen Milroe.
Nothing to be ashamed of Wisconsin. Run game solid, equalled bama in 1st downs and controlled the ball for 34 minutes. Y'all just need those 5 star play makers for big gains.
I love hearing Gus Johnson call games! As a Bama fan, I do not get to hear him call many Alabama games. I think this is only the 2nd Alabama game he has ever announced (Texas in 2022 & Wisconsin in 2024).
@devaughnhill9642 agreed. Wonder what teams have the 1st round picks next draft. Unless its Panthers, but i doubt they'd take him, but then again if Bryce has another terrible year who knows
Yea thats it for the Badgers. Really would've liked to see what would've happened if he didnt get injured...not saying they'd have won, but will never know unfortunately
I love the way the offense played better this game . I do hope to see the other receivers get more separation and get the ball a little more . We have some elite receivers. Especially Klaw . Should utilize him a little more . Like the jet screen or something
We looked really good against Wisconsin and beat them in all three phases of the game but George is going to be a different type of beast next Saturday but I have to say Roll Tide Roll!!!
As a badgers fan, I'm telling you be happy about the win. But don't look too much into it. Our team is not good this year. But I hope they fugure it out.
Mean while, a keyboard warrior who probably lives in their parent’s basement running their mouth behind a screen and doesn’t know anything about football😂😂. Gtfoh 🤡
Yeah, as a Bama fan I would've like the starting QB for Wisconsin to have finished the game and I would've liked your O-line to be like some of the old Wisconsin pound-it-out teams. Still early in the season. We'll see how Bama looks mid-October, November.
@dariuswilliams3206 It may not be but I guarantee it's higher statistically than the other ways especially if it's done right like Philly. I've been saying for years now my team Ohio State I wish Day would use it and finally C Kelly used it last week and of course it worked
Third year for the current Wisconsin coach. It looks like the team doesn't have it. Time for a new direction for the once proud Badger football program.
