Williams is the killer on this team. Morrow is solid. Lith is a liability if she's tasked with defending fast guards.

@@copperbeckville1853 i disagree… HVL is coming from being the top player on a team to being around a pretty much all star team trying to share and not take things into her hands. i see alot of complaints on her defense and i watched every game and her defense and tenacity has been really competitive and nice… coach said the team as a whole needed to work on their defense. but everybody’s been pretty good on defense. they need to work on their team help defense because that’s what confuses people into thinking somebody individually is bad when it’s a collective. HVL has been really a tough guard all season so far… but Flaujae…. her defense might be the best on the team lowkey. her rebounding and the way she jumps passes and fight for the ball. Flaujae and Morrow are the defensive standouts so far to me. but y’all doing too much on HVL. her defense ain’t been that bad. she feisty wit it. y’all gotta let it breathe.

They played 4 games without her. 3 of those games were against extremely low level d1 teams. So, LSU better be killing those teams even without star players on the floor.

Coach is committed to van tbh she going to struggle more in conference play tbh they should start poa over van.

Hailey Van Lith has changed into who Mulkey needs her to be: a true point guard. They have many scoring weapons as many LSU players made double figure points, including Van Lith. HVL hit a couple jumpers and looked at Amore like if I wanted to or if my coach gave me the green light like your coach gave you, it would be lights out no question! Don’t talk bad about VL, she’s a true hooper and committed to winning. Lastly, She’s coachable unlike a lot people in this new generation 🤷🏾‍♂️ #Facts

Yes she lacks aggression smooth player but lack aggression has always played that way since high school, and I wish she would put up more score has a nice 3 point shots and a good mid range but not utilizing, still would prefer her playing pg over hvl

@@GodsProphet23 I really mean it, to me she's the best player in the country, compare her 68% field goal and 56% three point percentages to Caitlin Clark's 48% and 38% from three (#1 ranked player), and Mikala Williams averages more points per game than Paige Buecker (#2 ranked player) so its not like it's only a couple shots a game at those averages, and she's out scored Reese (#3 ranked player) every game they've played together, I think she's not only proven she's better than Juju who was the top rated freshman in the country with Mikala second coming into this season, but she's proving she's the most talented scorer in the country... What's really crazy is Reese is ranked the third best player in the nation and imo that's about right, but instead of Bueckers and Clark ahead of her, her teammates Aneesha Morrow and Mikala Williams should be.... They're the most talented team I've ever seen, and a completely different team since their opening loss to Colorado. Honestly, the Angel Reese suspension while imo unfairly drug out, was the best thing that could have happened to them and allowed Morrow to become the All American she was at DePaul, Williams to prove she's clearly their best shooter (and imo most talented scorer), Van Lith to run the point much more effectively and to look for her own shot a little more, and Flauje is a perfect fit just being herself and getting her 12 a game on hustle plays and fast breaks she creates through hard defense... Then Adding Reese back to the team they became while she was out, they're easily the most talented team I've ever seen and imo would blow out the six teams currently ranked ahead of them...

no she’s not😂😂😂😂 this one game wasn’t her best but her defense has been good all year. i been watching every game. ever since colorado the competition aint been good but she been taking advantage of that. this team was just good at their pick and rolling. and after playing such poor competition, seeing a better team can catch you off guard. she been balling on defense this year.

This is a team sport.. nobody on the team got into help defense. It’s not all on lith . It’s on everyone on the court.
