@@chicoenglishsr.4977 See, that's the thing. You can't retool unless you have money. Trading AJ would incur a $42m cap hit. That's almost 1/5 of the entire cap. If they trade AJ this season, they won't have the cap space to sign anybody. Even if they drafted a bunch of guys, you still have to sign them.

Same two guys who backed Wents too when everyone was calling for his head. Just saying. Also Howie better get it right within the next two years. With talent like AJ, Devonte, and Jalen you can't let the years pass by! Also would be nice to maybe invest in a good backup tight end. More into the run game as well so the O coordinator can call a balanced game. Finally might be time for Howie to get some linebackers that can read the play and execute it.

Donnie Jones at punter. Dorenbos making the pro bowl in 2014. And of course all the years of Darren Sproles.

AJ already ruined it when he punkd Jalen on the sideline, demanded targets from a rookie OC/HC. notice we were fine on his streak of six 125yd+ games, but as soon as other teams figured out we were one dimensional, all that stopped and the drought was on. you think thats just a COINCIDENCE? what kinda CAPTAIN get dinged up, deletes his social media of all the team content, then doesnt travel with the team to a PLAYOFF GAME instead going to some irrelevant fight in AC? i dont even think he was hurt, his leg wasnt in the ground. he was moving the same way he tackled, so its not some jarring force. he just bitched up, quit and went to the fight.

No one would want to trade for AJ unless he renegotiated. He has a $41 million cap hit in 2025 and $45 mil dead cap if he gets cut or traded.He wouldn't renegotiate without more money.
