@@PoorMiners321you definitely want to break the surface tension with a detergent. I can guarantee you’ve lost some bonding wires while rinsing as they’re so tiny and fine. I usually recommend sifting everything through a couple mesh screens. First screen should be about 100 mesh or so to catch the legs, you continue to crush anything besides the legs until it goes through that sieve. Then i recommend using a 200-300 mesh screen to separate the fine particles better and help guarantee youve got them crushed enough to free up all of the gold bonding wires. Then you can put into nitric, followed by AR as usual. Another method I’ve been wanting to try for my larger scale ic chip runs (i usually save up 100-200lbs of ic chips at a time before a recovery) is incinerating and crushing to a fine powder like previously stated, then throwing everything into a crucible mixed with lead and borax to capture all of the metals, pour into a cone mold, and then have only the metal to work with in the beakers instead of fighting the fine powders through filters etc.

Yeah thats really good idea, i wanted to melt directly so we can save time and effort, but so far i dont have furnace to do the process but soon i make propane furnace if i have budget..

Thats okay if only few amounts of carbon, but do Your best to separate gold wire easily crushing it perfectly and please separate all ceramic ship, because ceramic is heavy and not easy to remove from your pan and mix to your gold wire, ceramic is heat resistant and make you trouble during smelting.

Yeah thats realy true, very hard to collect thats why i use transfer pipettes to collect fine gold wire because if you pan very hard then you loss it.

Yeah thanks, spending time around 1 to 2 hours, and the materials sold me chips only around 600 philippine peso per kilogram that is $11 to $12 USD, and our profit closer to $25, so not bad for me.
