Another great video, as always. And it looks like you found a mistake on our website! You read the eye size recco correctly - we said 1/8" which, as you discovered, is waaaaay too small for this body. We've updated the description to recommend 3/16" or 7/32" eyes, which both fit the body better. Nice catch!
If you get a knocker that you attach a string too get you a chalk line box and tie that string onto it. Keeps your string compact and easy to travel with and won’t get tangled up every time
You need a plug knocker Adam. It’s a lifesaver for such situations. Cool new lures there. If you keep bringing all these ideas along I’m going to have to sell body parts to afford this hobby 😂😂

A tight line is a tight line. I love dinks! That retrieve looked like a saltwater technique....pluggin' off the pier for mackerel. I might have to dub you Job, for the patience you showed. I probably would've snuck over to the King!
LOL, yeah it was like a top water spook retrieve on steroids - definitely something you’d see in the salt!! I guess I should consider my blessings I wasn’t fishing was sores all over my body wearing a sack of burlap, with 3 crappy friends following me around telling me I’m doing it wrong the whole time!
Taking Bob with you would have let you retrieve those lost lures. That's one thing I love about fishing from my 'yak, being able to retrieve stuck lures. Of course, I'd have to "save" a couple thousand lures in order to have my 'yak pay for itself. 😂
Those skins are really cool, you could use them to re finish old beat up lures. Or carve your own and finish them easily. I want the threadfin kind, they'd be awesome around the Chesapeake Bay. They might be a good way to cover a metal spoon type lure so it's not just metal, which could be really good on clear days. Edit, I'd be very tempted to paint the unfinished part in the front of the lures red, or at least one of each of them. It would finish off the front plus red headed lures have caught me a lot of fish.
100%!!! I wish I had thought ahead and pulled out an old lure, maybe something without a lip, to see how it would work, but alas… a cool experiment though, and really neat process!
1) I was wondering if you could cut a slit at a slight angle where the head is going to be in the shrink wrap so that the bill could go through kind of like the hook loop in the belly. Then the head would be covered. You could do it while you had the shrink wrap folded in half while you were hole punching the belly. 2) Glad you were finally able to get something from the Queen even if she begrudgingly gave it to you.😊
You should put the UV lights on top of the inside of the cooler I Love that belt rod holder a little tip for you next time you get snagged take off the bait caster reel from the rod and send your rod forward as you hold on to your reel let the rod unstuck your lure and then just reel in the rod with your luer it works

I have seen those skins and thought they were pretty neat. I have tried my hand at airbrushing and came to a quick realization that I have no talent for it 😂
Definitely a different kind of lurecraft! It still intimidates the crap out of me, but I know that’s partly because I have a standard in my head if what I want to see… and also the knowledge that I can’t produce it, LOL! At least not yet anyway. It’s worth the continued effort though - so many cool things you can accomplish with it! And hey… these skinz mean you only really need a head color, maybe a touch on the tail! That seems doable!
Definitely a challenge, but to be fair - I was a bit heavy handed with it on these LOL. I also used bigger hooks than I should have. Ah well, live and learn for the next one!
