As an update... I made this recipe this evening and it was definitely 5-stars! I made 12 individual tarts by pressing the dough into a silicone muffin tray and topping with the chocolate filling. The recipe on the blog did not include maple syrup so I did not include that ingredient and it was still extremely flavorful and decadent without being overly sweet. Excellent!

looks amazing! making this asap!! im going to instead going to put the base in a brownie pan and put the filling on the top, freeze it, cut it to big squares to make these chocolate bars and ill have them for breakfast or a quick dessert with lunch
Hello, fabulous looking dessert, is there any way I can cut out the oil in the recipe or use a different oil, I try to be mostly oil free but this would be a special treat for a special occasion? Thank you for all of your beautiful recipes I will be trying them once I get moved 🌺🌱🌷
What food processor do you use or recommended? I have a KitchenAid and I absolutely cannot get it to work and it’s very frustrating. I’m looking for other options at this point because of it.
From personal experience, I have ate before a cake where it was with walnuts and not cashews, and I personally think the taste is better than with cashews. Altho I still did not try replacing the ingredients but theoretically it should turn out good
