Hi Clara, thanks again for your simplified recipes. I made this cake last night and it came out perfect! I made just one though since I don't have a gas stove, thus cutting down on the ingredients using halves or quatres.
In the oven, I would go for 170 degrees Celsius. It's a heavy cake so you can start checking from 40 minutes. If a knife doesn't come out clear, give it an additional 10 to 15 minutes then check again. If however you divide it into 2 like I have done, they should take 25 minutes but ensure to confirm they've baked through. These are estimates now that ovens are different. I hope this helps.
