While working in mid-town Manhattan back in "1973" I ate this for dessert at lunch time everyday when I was expecting my first baby. When it was too cold, wet or slippery outside two of my co-workers would always bring a piece back to work for me. I'm so excited to try this for my family. I too may end up eating it all by myself.
I haven't had this cheesecake since1981. Never expected to see it again, but glad I have. I'm planning to make it for my birthday which is on Super bowl Sunday. I'll be71,so it's been forty years since I've had it. Thanks for the memories!
Guys, you are going to love this cheesecake! I can remember visiting Woolworth's when I was a child and enjoying this cheesecake! It was a favorite then and now you can also enjoy it too! YUMMMM!!!!
Girl, I used to work there and have been looking for this recipe since I was 18. I'm 60 now and cannot believe I forgot the recipe when I made it every other day. Woo-hoo. They didn't use butter in the crust though but it's better with it. If that's even possible.
@@noraplowshay8784 my mother worked at Woolworths when I was very little...I'm 🚫 w sixty . She made this ALOT as did most all of my family...I've made it many times too
😋 I will use it for Christmas 🎄! My mouth is watering. So pretty to the yellow lemony color! I've done cheesecakes but the ones with eggs & cooking in oven. This one is simple & yummy & fast! I remember wool worth 😊. Thank you for this fast yummy recipe!!
I love how clear you are with your instruction! I can't wait to try this recipe. I do have a question - if you use evaporated milk do you whip it like you did with the heavy whipping cream? Thank you!
Thanks for the recipe I plan on doing it for St. Patrick’s Day using lime Jell-O instead I was wondering could I add a drop or two of food coloring are you able to let me know what you’d appreciate it I hate to ruin the whole batch by doing that thanks
People shopping at Wal-Mart, wearing a mash, then you see them pull down the mask to lick a finger to open a bag, after they have finished shopping behind other people, wearing no mask.
I agree, I really hate the music people play. It is really bad when I have to turn the volume down so as not to hear it. It's a cooking show not a music show.
