Hi! Always love watching your videos. Had tried a couple of your condensed milk butter cream frosting! And they really taste great! I've a small request, i've tried couple of times making fresh cream frosting for layering the cakes. But the results wasn't too good. Possible to show a video on fresh cream frosting? Appreciate it. Thank you for the recipe, i tried it with the same tart ring but size 20 cm but it shrinked in baking, i was able to remove the ring directly when i remove from oven. I even freezed it before baking. Any idea what went wrong?

For all those looking for eggless option, I made it using this recipe but I substituted the large egg for 55g of thick yogurt/curd. It turned out absolutely perfect. :)

Bythe way, I checked the links and they are way too expensive in Indian currency. Need to check with Amazon India site. Hopefully I will find similar products reasonably priced. Is there a different result if we use regular tart mould instead of perforated ring and tray?

Nisa Setyadin the perforations minimise the rise in the pastry so it may rise and bubble more but it can be done. Also the pastry may slip down the sides if your rings so you will need to freeze for longer before baking. Good luck!

I only have non-perforated baking mat, ring mold and non-perforated tray. Will it work?

It will work but the pastry will bubble a bit. Also do not grease the rings and freeze the pastry longer, maybe an hour, before baking otherwise the pastry walls may slip.

It might be easier for you to get a cutter approx 1/2 larger than the ring. That way you only have one step instead of two. It doesn't make sense to do 2 cuts for one shell.

I find it a lot easier doing it this way. It gives a straighter and sharper join at the base with a nice 90 degree angle ;-) Thanks for watching!

It will last a couple of days at room temp (unfilled) or 5 days in the fridge. It will soften in time.

Anand Tiwari yes, it means you don’t need to blind Bake because there is good air flow under the pastry.

You probably need to bake it for another few minutes. If not, the ring and the tart will naturally contract after 1-3 minutes of cooling and it’ll be very easy to remove
