Culture eats religion but not spirituality. We are religious as a people. Many are fluid in their beliefs as blown by any wind of doctrine and follow all kinds of religious teachings and practices once cloaked with a veneer of Christ Jesus. We should follow the Word of God through Jesus and work righteousness through faith in His redemptive power. We let a culture of seige mentality by witches and juju dominate our mindset into a spirit of timidity and paralysis instead of a sound mind producing fruits of righteousness. We should be spiritual and let truth reign in our worship of Him who has called us into His kingdom. The African Christian is given the same word as the American,European or Asian Christian. Syncretism should not be allowed to filter into our Christian faith by our socialization as a people birthed into a generic religious culture
