It’s so funny. I’m watching this video 4 years later and you said in the video there’s never gonna be a shortage of yeast because no one thinks to make their own. Do you remember in 2020 after you made this video how everyone was baking bread during Covid? I had to barter with a guy off Nextdoor for a jar of yeast haha!
Awww ❤this is so sweet! I am just now finding older videos of y’all’s ! ❤❤During this quarantine period, I was still healing from surviving cancer. I stopped watching television completely and started to only watch movies or Hulu! and for 189 seconds,I can do something else while I wait for the commercials to end.. haha 😂 which is also why, I decided it was smarter & safer for me to preserve my gardening and start hunting again! Thank you for sharing your experience and letting us learn along with y’all!!
I make about 4 loaves a week. I bought a bread machine at a yard sale for $3.00. I let my bread machine mix it for me so I don’t have to stand and need for so long as it hurts my hands. Take out of the machine and form my loaves to rise before putting in the oven.❤
I’ve tried making my own bread. It took me 3 to 4 times before I found a recipe that worked for me. By the way, it was 2020, when the country and everything went into shutdown that I started searching for bread recipes. And it’s been that long since I last made bread.
Oh I wish we were neighbors. 🥰 Such a wonderful tutorial skill. Same quality as today with self-sufficiency another great topic. I love hearing the ending where you are excited to reach 200. 🤩
love making our own bread.. we've stopped buying.. stocked up on flour, yeast and fixings.. i make about 2 loaves every 4th day. kinda enjoy it :-) enjoyed watching yours .
