@@TeeOna2StrokeI'm a twig lol I've just bought one to restore putting racing reeds in it n allsorts I'm only 68kg so it will literally fly with me on it hopefully
We got 109 out of an RD125LC in 1985 with not a massive amount of work. Sure kids got more on the optimistic Speedo. Sweet little machine, not putting it down. I'd have wanted one but had an RD500LC in '87.
I have a 2008 model with 34mm carb, 140cc cylinderkit. It does about 175km/h (109mph) on overrev... So I need to swap my rear sprocket to a smaller one to not be revlimited in 6th gear. I saw one guy on YT with the same setup as me but with 36T sprocket, he did 188km/h (117mph) in his video. But I do not know if it was on a flat road or slightly downhill. I think I will order a 38T sprocket and see what it does. 40T is stock.
@@rhombus2490 this is the unlimited version. The limited one probably isn't that fun. I might still choose a limited one over a four stroke though. Depends.
Absolutely get an rs I’ve ridden both r125 and the gixxer this is lighter and faster and a lot more fun using a cbr125r as a daily and it makes me depressed trying to have fun with it
@@ant1pathyyy well this is a full unrestricted united states model. With performance exhaust, carb, maybe a head. Simple bolt on parts. Maybe 3 more HP? Maybe gear it a little taller. Maybe 105mph/170kph out of it.
If the Aprilia RS 125 is the 2 stroke model. Simple, the Aprilia. It will out perform that 4 stroke Yamaha all day long. Thats what I would choose. If you have no mechanical aptitude AT ALL and plan on NEVER picking up a wrench. Stick with the Yamaha.
@@TeeOna2Stroke same mate i weigh 80kg lol and have a sym nhx 125 streetfighter proper bike tbf done 87 bouncing off limiter and i get to 75 on flat pretty easy
@facial210 first of all what a dumb comment to make when talking about a video of a machine less than a FIFTH the size of yours…and second of all, 90 in first for a 600? I call bullshit UNLESS you have it geared to be that tall, which in that case is moronic for a machine with so little torque to be geared as such….”0-90 in first on my 600rr” may sound cool to you, but to a true rider you sound like a clown 🤡
