I find myself plugging in the headphones and turning UP almost every time I listen to this song... I always thought about good music being pure energy and emotion, but this.. takes that to new levels.

I have been to every Glastonbury since my first one in 1997, it has the friendliest and warmest people of anywhere I've ever been, and people do go nuts for the music. Never been to T in the Park - too far away!

This song makes me want to cry! My cousin introduced me to Arcade Fire, I've never heard anything like them - so many instruments! Every song's supported by an orchestra! I'd kill to see them live. Cat -x-
oh I plan on it in a few years friend. I still can't get over the excellence of this band, and i'm sure that the other bands playing these festivals have awesome talent as well.

Msnbc new's morning Joe plays this sometime when going to commercial. I like the energy on this song I never Knew who sung this song , thanks to Iphone shazam -I happen to catch it and Now I'm here rocking out. Love it they sound just as good live.
With most bands, even if you think their songs are amazing the first time, the more you listen the less you appreciate it. Arcade Fire is the complete opposite. When I first heard their music I thought it was good but not great, but the more I listen the more in awe I become. It's like quicksand: once you're in there's no way out, but in this case it's a good thing.
All this talk about great techical musicianship vs. great songwriting. Any musician will tell you that the rarer and therefore greater gift is writing. Lots of people with great chops on just about any instrument you care to name. Yet few can write an original tune that grabs your attention. Let alone parts you from from hard earned coin to purchase it or go see them paly it live. Win can definitely write -> and they are the best live band on the planet. They play with huge passion.
