This ended up being a really fun relaxing fishing trip in Graveline Bayou. The morning plan wasn’t working out so I switched gears and came up with another gameplan. There are plenty of fishing starting to stack up in the bayous. Just need to figure out where they’re at!

I’ve caught all but one of my pb redfish in graveline bayou. Spring time is my favorite time but come November I’m most definitely going back out there to catch some flounder

Have you fished over by the silver slipper recently? I went this morning and caught around 10 trout, 2 reds, and a few white trout. Great place to go in the kayak! You should try it out! I’m posting that video later this week

Looking forward to watching! I’ve never fished that area before. Having truck issues now so I’m very limited on where I can take my kayak. Pretty much local to OS.

@@bayoubeast8225 Honestly I just moved here this summer and don’t really know how else to describe it other than in that area by the Silver Slipper haha. Will be posting the video later this week so maybe that’ll give a better idea of where. Sorry, just not all familiar with the names of everything around here yet 😂

@@bogueoutdoors same here lol. I found out about caddy by accident. Had no clue it was back there. I waded off the beach and saw a few big stikes I guessing was reds but no luck. Wimd was blowing straight in and it got dirty quick. Lots and lots of bait. The bayou runs right behind the casino. There's a nice pier back there. Caught about 3.6 million croaker and a few small white trout and specks.

I recently purchased some land near Graveline and was curious how deep the bayou is on average? I heard they just finished dredging it. I was also curious if you ever see Alligators in Graveline? I enjoy your videos and cant wait to fish the Mississippi coast. Thanks.

5-7 ft on average. Out in the main channel there’s spots that run 15+ ft deep. Yes I’ve seen a few gators but never worries about them. Thanks for the support and good luck!

We are from mendenhall...so just 2nd time in saltwater...any advice? Newbs on the prowl. We've fished piers for years successfully, just got huge learning curve
