You guys always rock, your builds are of the utmost best, love your work and your contribution to the car audio world, one day I wish to grow up and be able to do what you do in the car audio game. Keep on rocking on
Wouldn't mind a set of mundorf tweeters in my golf Peter. Think I'm going to need a few more upgrades with you , it's definitely very addictive this SQ audio 😊.
1. Centre console is not empty 2. Even if it was, it’s not necessarily the best location for a sub, unless you can have space all the way at the front under the dash 3. It’s a no compromise project in pursuit of getting the best quality sound
@pssound9749 Thank you, Peter, for your answer. They have a distinct look. I know you are very busy; but may I ask you one last question. Which model have you been used, the lo cap 55?
@pssound9749 Peter? I'm asking this because I bought the the Van Damme lo-cap 55 for a near future project. I hesitated buying them because they are officially instrument cables and on the stiff side (remarked it after buying it). I couldn't find Tchernov over here in the Netherlands. The 55 model because off the low roll of.
Have been planning on doing acoustic elegance sbp's in trunk baffle, should i consider one audio as an alternative? What are your thoughts oa ib3 vs ae sbp for trunk baffle?
@pssound9749 so between the ae sbp and the oa ib2, just whichever is cheaper/ has lower vas since it's a smaller trunk? Thank you very very much for your time and knowledge. I seriously appreciate it a lot. I would've gone to your us training seminar if it were in my state.
@pssound9749 georgia, not far from Atlanta. I used to do car audio professionally but the first shop I was at did shit work that I couldn't take pride in, so I left, the second shop was under managed, under staffed, and didn't have their own shop so I had to try to have everything I needed in a truck. Was slightly better bcs they cared more but still wasn't the level of work I wanted to do. Now it's a hobby and I give my friends the best bang for their buck possible.
Bad idea cutting out the firewall Peter, that's a destructive installation, not constructive installation. I bet the insurance company would have something to say about this if this car were to be in an accident, Peter. Every part of the vehicle is engineered for a specific safety rating. You should have found another way. My idea would have been to install 2 x subs to the front doors, yes it's more challenging for the enclosure, but I have done this before, and with the correct phase alignment, you can get incredible front stage bass enhancement. The only issue is you will be restricted to 6 inch or 6 x 9 inch for the subs
You never gona get such a great result from door build location comparing with this situation, especialy true ib 12” Priority and the point for this project - to achieve best possible SQ with authority and without missing anything even on high listening level
I understand the need but it looks ass. Honestly. First time that nothing looks integrated (minus the a pillars). I guess you worked with what you had but I’m used to everything integrated, smooth, this thing has boxes and add ons. 🤷🏻♂️
It’s not the first and not the last non-OEM or OEM+ designs. We’re happy with it, owner is happy with and you’re probably part of that small group who has to share his opinion about not liking it, so… 🤷🏻♂️
@@TheGodofSEO my comment was the result of yours, so again, what do you expect, especially on this day? 😞 Also, even the title says what it says, it was never ever about OEM design. The ears and judges don’t care about it and it’s far from something that’s bad to look at.
