Learn to be alone, learn to do the things you used to love to do. Finally learn to be happy or at least try. Love finds you , you don’t look for it. Just don’t hate the world and turn cold. Remember to smile even if it’s hard.

Its been 9 days no contact with a girl after an 8 years (as a GF ofc). Its hurt like hell but when i remember her words, i'm glad that i did NO CONTACT with her.
My main physical destressor is judo. The problem is I met my ex at judo class, and we bonded deeply over that activity, but now it can be a bit of a trigger. Guys go talk to other females even if its a plutonic one. They help give me new insights from the female view that guys miss. For example when you hurt a girl through withdrawl she may feel she isnt good enough and fade away. And even if she contacts you in say 2 months, your head maybe far away by then. I think its safe to say if you havent heard from her within a couple of weeks its time to move on. Some women never give in, no matter how much it hurts them and its for reasons men dont quite follow.
When I went through my last break up, it was so hard to follow the no contact rule. I kept looking at her social media and missed her more until I finally blocked her and cut off all contact. The social factor was great for me to get over her. And working out kept my mind focused too.

I stopped counting the days but it's been a little over a month, I still think of her everyday but she doesn't consume my thoughts. It's getting easier each week but man I still miss her and the memories we had. Everytime I miss her though I remind myself of the way she discarded me and threw it all away like it was nothing.

Regression therapy is great. All that pain of from that little boy not getting enough love and attention from his mum and afraid he will lose her and die. That can be healed and then breakups are more factual and little unpleasant instead of crushing. Heal those parts in you
1 year of No Contact. First 8 months were tough, but I’m happy that I went through it because of how rational my decisions in dating and time have become. Life will become simpler and better if you focus on the goals that you have that are bigger than a person that was part of your life
Been a year. Followed all the steps, therapy etc. Shes still in my mind because shes in my circle of friends and i cinstantly get reminded of her. So i distance myself from them also and try to make other friends.
