If you objectively watched the match, there is nothing to be genuinely shocked, surprised, or outraged about. Casemiro, Evans, and Eriksen are statues and can’t move. United were overwhelmingly playing safe sideways and backwards passes all game long because they didn’t want to lose the ball and expose their mannequin center backs to the counter. Dalot and Wan Bissaka couldn’t get forward to support the attack and create overloads because Casemiro and Evans would be completely exposed in the back. Mainoo, Eriksen, and Mount have no recovery and transition pace. And neither Garnacho or Antony had any support on the wings because their fullbacks can’t get forward to support them and create overloads.

The only way to clear the squad out is pay them all off and start from scratch with the youth and few smart signings.
