Exactly what the hobby needs from a reviewer. Someone who spends the money - after all, it's the people hard earned money keeping these business afloat - and giving honest (0 F's given) opinions based on what you enjoy and of similar libraries to yours. Hell yeah, you haven't done DAPs in a while. I feel like the ibasso DX300 was probably the last which I scored thank to your rec. Mahalo for all that you do as a reviewer and for the hobby. 🤙

Tell it brother. I feel the same way. Videos that praise get more views and likes than videos that point out the faults, but it's a necessity. Not everyone can afford to make the mistake of buying a set that doesn't stack up or is a bad value. Keep it up 👍

Your honest approach was the main reason I originally started watching your videos, despite our music libraries being leagues apart. And even though our musical tastes differ, your breakdown and rec of the KE Quintet was enough for me to buy it, despite not really being able to afford it, and it is my go-to set now. Keep up the fantastic, honest, and informative work we have all learned to enjoy and respect.

It's not a rant HBB. It's just you simply making it clear where you stand. And yeah, it is absolutely nobody's damn business how much you choose to spend in this hobby. Me personally, i don't see the practicality for me, on spending 5 grand for an iem; and i don't see the sense in getting one, even if i can afford it. But i sure would like to know something about it. And i can at least appreciate the fact that you bought one with your own money and is giving us, who are curious about it, an honest review/critique of it. ...as i have said earlier, it's absolutely none of our damn business, how you choose to spend your money on this hobby. i'm willing to bet that those who criticize you for owning expensive sets, they just plain ENVIOUS.

Speaking of DAPs, an amazing affordable DAP is an old LG G or V Series phone. All the Vs, the Korean G6, global G7 and G8, and one of the Qs (IIRC) got ESS Sabre DACs and amps. Same part numbers as the units found in a lot of modern bespoke DAPs. LGs depreciated like a rock so you can get one in good shape used for hundreds less. I want to say that Asus used to use them in a few generations of their ROG phones too. Love the video. This set seems like the definition of okay. I'm happy you reviewed it.

Can you suggest if moondrop jiu is good?😭I'm so confused. I like good bass with good mic. Also Im new to IEMs so I have no idea about it.

There is clean bass but not rumbling, slamming, hitting bass. Same like chu 1 but more clean, extended treble And vocals. Better try 7hz sonus, it gives all you want

If it's $50 with those velvet eartips prolly worth it. $80... Nah. Your watch talk remind me, I generally use a citizen or casio watch in everyday life. I do have a Grand Seiko got it about 2-3 years ago when I got my job. Other than merriage reception I don't really find any reason to wear it, Still feels like showing off. Enough Rambling, I enjoy this series. Got a Yume 2 thanks to NELB. Still have it😊

Happy happy friday to you! As I said before you are a real gem for the hobby. Offering people the platform to publicly voice their problems with customer service with the risk that you get in trouble with said company is truly commendable. Imo no need to explain why you are willing to pay a large sum of money for your gear. Your money your choices. Also I can't wait to see your take on daps. I think that I wrote under one of your previous vids that I was looking for a dap so any insight on those would be appreciated. Chifi is definitely thriving, a lot of good stuff unfortunately ends up getting overlooked - love the fact you are keeping this series going that brings back attention to them. Nice, can't wait to see more reviews of DAP's! Quite a lot of good stuff has come out recently, especially seeing better budget - midrange options.
