In this video, I will show you how to make super soft corn butter bread.
With simple ingredients, you can make this really soft bread at home.
You don’t need any special ingredients for this recipe, just prepare corn flour!
The making process is also very easy, so even those who do not have a bread mixer will be able to make it easily. 🤗

Corn Butter Bread
Bread flour 200g (1 cups + ¼ cup)
Corn flour 100g (¾ cup + 1 Tbsp)
Sugar (granulated) 25g (2 Tbsp)
Salt 3g (1/2 tsp)
Instant dry yeast 4g (1 tsp)
Milk 200ml (¾ cup + 1 Tbsp)
Unsalted butter 30g (2 Tbsp)
Please prepare ✔️
Prepare milk and butter at room temperature.
1. Put all the dry ingredients in a clean bowl and mix lightly. Add lukewarm milk in three portions. Add room temperature unsalted butter and combine well.
2. Transfer the dough to the workbench and begin kneading the dough. Use the heels of your hands to push down and outward, lengthening and stretching the strands of gluten and dough fibers.
Continue to knead, folding and turning the dough, until it is smooth and supple. (About 10-15 minutes) Stretch a piece of dough into a thin sheet between your fingers. If the gluten is well-developed, the dough will stretch into a paper thin film without breaking. Transfer the dough to the clean bowl. Cover the top and let dough at least double in size in a warm place. (About for 1 hour)
3. Transfer the dough to the workbench. Divide it into 9 equal sizes. Shape the each dough into a smooth ball of dough, cover the top and wait for 20 minutes.
4. After 20 minutes, remove the gas from the dough by gently rolling it again. Cover the top and let it rise in a warm place until 1,5-doubled in size. (About 40-50 minutes)
5. Before baking, score the top of the dough slightly and put cold unsalted butter. Lastly, sprinkle some sugar on top. Bake in an oven preheated to 180℃ (356℉) for 13-15 minutes.
6. Allow the baked bread to cool on a wire rack.
