When everyone first gets the game it's scary af when it hunts. You don't really know the mechanics yet and the ghost will always get you. Once you play a few hours and learn the mechanics though hunts can actually be really good for understanding what the ghost is and it stops being scary because you know how to escape it.
@@FlashForce I wish youtube would help high quality small creators grow, you really deserve a lot more subscribers, keep doing what youre doing. Much love
I have so much respect for flash...I remember trying a no-evidence run and I endet up getting stuck in a closet with 0 sanity, just listening to the ghoust hunt right next to me over and over again. I knew I wouldn't have the time to get out of the house in between hunts because I was way too slow when it came to opening doors. So I just stayed in the closet forever.
You too huh? I can’t get the doors to open worth my life and the ghost keeps turning off the breaker on me making finding the breaker difficult with a tier 1 flashlight
This paints a good picture between veterans and rookies. Kinda like at any job. Hell even fast food. The guy who’s been there for two months relies on the timer. Official policy and what’s written down, official methods. The veteran who’s worked there for a decade can just *tell* when it’s done. A newbie in Phasmophobia, like myself, runs around with a checklist yet I’ve played with veterans and like ten minutes in they have an answer and it’s always a detail that isn’t even in the checklist
nah, revenant is the easiest ghost to identify on no evidence runs, u literally just gotta hear the sound, u dont need to get close to it or get in its line of sight, if its walking this slow, its a revenant, anyone could do this
I am currently playing Phasmophobia with my little brother (13), and I'm trying to get him to understand how important it is not to be scared because that's how you die. The dude is learning quickly but still panics every time a light flickers 😂🤣 he also immediately goes to salting the house right at the start ☠️ or even worse defaults to staying in the truck to watch sanity instead of cams lmao.
I've learnt that rather than being scared, if you complain about the ghost doing stuff or just talk, you are less likely to be screaming. Like i had a basement ghost earlier and it started hunting upstairs, instead of panicking, i was listening like im a parent whos hearing their kid late at night, a little confused but about to get angry at the ghost instead of fearing it. TLDR: scare the ghost back rather than be scared of it, with safety measures like smudges
If you want to demystify hunts, go into Tanglewood with just a lighter and some smudges and a Ouija board. Use the board to start a hunt (say "Hide and Seek") and practice smudging.
I remember first time playing phasmophobia, i got to school with 3 people who knew how to play, we split up and started walking around , hunt started, i saw someone behind us abd yelled to him "yo wheres 4th?" Then he just keep running forward and i saw a goddamn ghost, this was real scary but mine friend got me to safe and the 3rd and 4th of our team died
try going into the campsites and whichever one has the picnic tables at the front, you can loop around the tables, and if you POSSIBLY have friends, get them to view you or have one as emergency hiding in the tents
Thank you for your tips I have phasmo on my PC but I haven’t played it in a while and I’m waiting for console to play with friends so I watch as much of you as I can so I can be ready
Meanwhile my friend and I set to 0 evidence but friendly Ghost to practice. But without hunts you can't determine half of the ghosts. So it was extra hard.
I was dead but I recognized the ghost as Raiju from footsteps, it seemed slower outside the ghost room and fast in ghost room (we had dots) and when it was near someone of us (we had things on us). And then someone set up a camera and he was fast around the camera too. Easy run.
The last time i tried taunting the ghost out like this, it changed location three times just so it could spawn within two feet of me and my teammates. We all died before we could hear any footsteps T^T
I'm no expert, but I've played a lot of Phasmo. But lord almighty you won't be able to make me do no evidence run. The ghost ALWAYS catches my butt when it hunts like I have a target on my tushy
Believe jinn does a very similar thing but is still slower than revenant's max speed. Gets a line of sight bonus but overall speeds are slower then Rev
That was me once. I pulled death card and hid in a closet when I noticed the ghost was kinda slow. I went out of the closet and the ghost saw me and spead up and I smugged and went back into tge closet.
God no, I k ow its key but I'm a hard-core scardy cat. Rev, Dio, and Wraith can go elsewhere for a party (oh and mimic dear god) You have no idea how loud I screemed trying to run from Rev and I hit a wall and turned to see it speedwalkin to kill me... ;-;) I'll still go inside unless I'm alone.. I rarely do that unless we just need like 1 or 3 photos for perfect game
You Could Get Confused With Jinn And Revenent Because When It Sees You It Get Sped Up As Hell But Revenent Only Speeds Up Whenever It Is Seeing You If You Hide After Smudge It Will Save It's Stamina And Don't Gives A Sh*t To You 😂
It's kinda hard to not notice the difference though. Jinn's have regular ghost speed when not chasing. Revnants are ungodly slow. You literally can't mistake a Rev for anything else if you hear it at a distance.
