@@fish_R_stinky69 A dirt bikes fuel delivery, ignition and valve timing, and even gearing is not setup to immediately accept the changes in backpressure, exhaust valve and manifold temperatures, and potentially other effects of running without a muffler. RiP BoZo 🤡🤡🤡
Aside from pissing your neighbors off you're also going to ruin that engine bud. I know they're expensive but just buy an exhaust for it. Unless you want to blow it up of course then go nuts lol
Actually when I was 10-11yo I ran a Honda dirt bike like this for days/week. Put the exhaust back on and rode it for another 2-3 years now problem. I did it just to piss off the neighbors! 😂
I ride daily and work on motorcycles regularly, having no exhaust can damage your valves and the cylinder head. Very little of this happens on four strokes is, some of the combustion can happen in the few inches of your exhaust and it's better at transferring the heat from the engine. It's not safe to run an engine without the header/manifold for extended periods of time and really should only be done if you have to, like after rebuilding your engine or maintaining an engine that has sat for a long period of time
Do people not understand that every engine will “make flames” if you take the muffling off. That’s literally how engines work is compressed air and fire
I heard that the dealerships were selling the grom above the MSRP.I didn't know that they were able to do that, but I have heard it from a few different people now.
yeahhh getting mine for about 2-300 over msrp mainly due to popularity. cheaper than my phone bill to own tho so definitely a good purchase , using it to make a stunt bike
Haha reminds me of buddies 1983 Honda ATC 110 we called bubbles cuz it has no exhaust, sounded just like this with flames as well, great for trail riding in the grass and dry leaves, right
No exhaust (at least a few inches) can allow cold (atmospheric) air to scavenge (via the venturi effect) up the exhaust port and onto/ past the exhaust valve. If that low temperature air touches the valve that is piping hot (600-1300°f) it WILL warp or crack the valve. (the same applies to the valve seat....
Throw a zoom loop exhaust and a dinger built titanium intake. Have a dhm stage one tune on mine. It sounds mean for what it is. I’ve had so many people flag me down asking what it is. It likes to backfire. Hell my brother can here me probably 4 or 5 blocks away
