I completely get where you’re coming from with the nails! I found that I was spending way too much money each month on my nails and I’ve also always hated getting them done . About a month ago I started doing my own nails using Nailboo. It’s absolutely a life changer! Takes the same amount of time but I don’t need to go to the nail salon, I just make myself an iced coffee and tune into Netflix and do my nails at home. I will never go to a nail salon again!

Hi Shaz, always love a BM video from you. You might try Erborian CC cream (Fair or Dore if you are brown in the summer). Have been loving it in its own in the early summer but also as a base for my BM. Ang x

I totally agree with you on the price of having gel nails. I haven't had them done since lockdown. Won't go back now just keep my manicure routine simple. I have also just gone back to BareMinerals, yes why can't we get bisque etc here in the UK.

You’re absolutely right about gel nails. I paid $75 here in nyc!! Like what the heck??! But now I pay &60 bc one of my daughters cousin gives me a family discount and I can add or do whatever for that set price. I decided at my age I have to find something to do to treat myself to keep depression at bay. It makes me a little happy I guess. Yes fairly light 03 is def your color! Looks perfected on you. Omg u remind me of me when I hear loud ppl or children outside I say why are they so loud?? Why can’t. Ppl whisper😂😂😂😂😂 keep emailing bare minerals!! I wish they would bring back one fine line !! I loved that stuff ! I have not found any other liner that thin or good!! I found it on eBay but omg they want like $40/$50 for one!! Jeez what’s wrong with ppl ?? Do they think ppl became rich after covid! This world has gotten so disgusting to me ugh.. tfs beautiful as always❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ you are definitely the 👸 QUEEN OF BARE MINERALS!! I love it!!!❤

💯 % YES to the chatty videos Shaz! You are the queen of chatty videos and always relevant. I have the Nars concealer, did you use a damp sponge to appy it Shaz? I cant comment about manicures as i dont really bother with my nails. I just keep them short and apply a nail strengthening oil by Sally Hanson every few days. But nearly £50 is a LOT of money eh!!! Thats about $100 Australian!!!!!. As always an absolutely stunning look Shaz, natural, sophisticated and simple.....just beautiful ❤⚘️

Thank you Jayne! I often use the nars concealer with a dry sponge and if find it works just as well. It's so creamy. I like my nails super short too and with gels they just grow out too long. xx

Yay, you're back, I love how you do your make up & the chats, this look is beautiful. I have never used bare minerals before but like the idea for summer . That blush you used was it bare or rose radiance? It looks lovely on your eyes. Cant wait for the next one ❤

Yeah I don't know what's going on with bareMinerals either! They got bought out like 3 years ago and it's still in transition. I miss when Leslie Blodgett was running the company. It was so great ! Nails here have gotten completely out of control too. What used to cost about 80 bucks pre-covid is now $110 for manicure and pedicure. And God forbid you want a special design, it's now $5 per nail. It's ridiculous for about an hour to an hour and a half worth of work. I taught myself how to do dip powder using RU-vid tutorials during the close downs and they looked almost as good as the pro nails, and I did not use an e-file. I used a regular file. So I think I'm going to go back to that too. Unfortunately right now I have acrylics on and gel toenail polish, so I'm going to have to go pay to get those removed LOL by the way I was just in England and was thinking about you! It's such an amazingly fun and beautiful country ! No random people stopped to talk to us though 😢 I was thinking of you whenever we'd be out and about! Oh by the way have you tried the brand Kiko milano? You might like them. I came across them in Scotland and I absolutely adore their products. I have never tried such good eyeshadows or lip glosses. I think the lip gloss I got is called HD or 3d. It's really good! I wish we had those stores here.

How amazing you were in the UK and I'm so glad you had a great time! haha no randomers, must be just me lol 😆😆 I've tried some eye shadows from Kiko but I've heard those lip glosses are really good so I'll have to give them a try next! xx

You mentioned the the it cosmetics cc cream was a bit greasy, I always like to mix another foundation with it. Gives great coverage, takes the illumination part to a minimum and I get to use up all my product. It really is a shame that BareMinerals got rid of the radiance collection. I have 1 clear radiance left in my backups. Another awesome thing about BM is that the product never goes bad. As long as you have it, you can use it. That’s the best thing about mineral makeup. Great Video! That powder foundation looks good on you. I also think the prices of nails went up, Ive had mine on and off over 20 years, going to try to keep them off for the summer. Full set in the states where I live is about 80 dollars now

I’m the same, my natural hair colour is a medium brown and I’ve been getting coloured blonde for years and years, but, recently I’m fed up of the blonde and I think I’ve just realised it doesn’t even suit me, so no more , I’m going to leave colour grow out n see what happens

Wow your nail salon are definitely overcharging! I live in the Midlands and have biab and nail art every 4 weeks and my nail salon charges £33 for infil and fresh nail art/gel polish. Thats enough imo. Lovely makeup look as always x
