Today we take a look at Tesla Staines-upon-Thames Collection Point, The Causeway, Staines TW18 3AU.
We cycle in to see what the place is all about and speak to a very helpful member of staff who tells us about Tesla Cars.
We then take the drone over and are spoken to by another member of staff who says filming is not allowed at all.

Not one death by 'drone' since the tech emerged, around 2015. In contrast, here in the US, our automobile death count is around 40,000 per YEAR. Whenever some dolt starts rambling about the 'danger' of 'drones'... I laugh and remind them of the REALITY.

_"If it falls on a car..."_ A 249g drones weigh less than half the weight of a standard football, yet people like this try and present them as a danger to life and limb, they seem oddly indifferent to dozens of 1,600,000g (average car weight) slabs of metal doing 60mph a couple of metres away, but are terrified of 249g of floating ABS plastic 😂

@@braddbradd5671 hail stones are a bit different. They are small dense heavy object whose whole weight is concentrated at a single point, they are falling at terminal velocity. A drone from 50 to 80 meters is falling much slower and its contact surface area is much larger so the impact if it hits you is much less. A 249g drone weighs less than a large pigeon.

Hi DJ. Those drones do fall from the sky 😊 my Mini3 pro did right after taking off. Unfortunately straight to Thames River under the QE2 bridge. Don't trust them in 100%. Good video anyway. A bit of education passed is always positive. Keep up with the good job 👍

Here in Los Angeles County there’s so many people driving Tesla cars. It’s because, in California, the government gives a federal rebate. So you get the cars practically half price ($18,000), all electric vehicles because California is giving people incentives to go electric. I think we are, at present, the only State that does it. The infrastructure is good too, meaning charging stations everywhere. Recently went back home to Essex and there’s not the same infrastructure, so, apart from the big cities, I can’t see how electric vehicles will thrive as they do here.

@RedHeadNINTY9T9I think you may need to define ‘everywhere’ - I live in newham E6 and they are most certainly NOT everywhere. Supermarket car park is the nearest communal chargers for those that live in the nearby flats / blocks and they are permanently taken up by a few lucky ones that get in first and there is no ability to slow charge overnight as they chuck you at 10.

I wouldn't own one for the simple reason (Among others) my garage is under the same roof as my house. If I plug my car in and go to sleep and the lithium battery catches fire - which happens far more than is reported - I am dead. Not to mention, it won't be long before governments start taxing EV use, to compensate for their loss of fuel excise revenue

Someone told me if you need to buy a tyre/tire for a Tesla they are unique to Tesla only. That is, they wont fit any other make of car and surprise, surprise can only be bought from Tesla at £700 each.

Great job to the gentleman explaining the Tesla service. 👍⭐⭐⭐ The car park had been vacant for many years and Tesla Collection a recent tenant. Around 2008 was an office block similar to Burgas House which was replaced by the Flow 1 building DJ visited.

I never looked for it in London when I was there for 10 days, but I did look for Tesla's while I was in Central Europe for 3 weeks this summer. I was in Berlin, Dresden, Vienna, Prague, Salzburg, and Budapest. I saw a total of 6 Tesla's. I don't think they are very popular there on that side of the pond. I can drive to Phoenix on any given day and see at least 20 of them. I don't see very many of them where I live because you have to drive about 25 miles away to find a charging station, however I see lots of them in all the big cities I have been to recently throughout America. I would never own one, but to each their own.

just got back from germany (Berlin) and holland (amsterdam) and can confirm, teslas are everywhere. literally went in 3 that was taxis in amsterdam.

teslas arre everywhere in the uk. i see about 20 different ones go past my place everyday picking up their kids from school, we have vabout six of them on our estate.. they have got extrememly popular.... i think they are bloody ugly, they look like vw beetles squashed and lengthened , a bit like a porsche...

There's at least 20 charging stations with 2-3 miles of my house in *Bradford,* the world's first *UNESCO City of Film.* The heritage neighbourhood of *Little Germany* 2 miles North of me has been used as *Berlin* in the war film *Wall of Tyranny* (1988) and the sports film *Gold* (2018), *Moscow* in *The Crown* (2016-present), *London* in *Residue* (2016) and *Commando 3* (2019), *Hainaut* in *The ABC Murders* (2018), *Birmingham* in *Peaky Blinders* (2013-2022), and will be used as *Birmingham* again in *Six Triple Eight* (2024), among many many more international locations and productions. As you can see, it's mainly used in period dramas, like most of the usual filming locations in the city, and can double for practically anywhere.

Tesla don’t have dealerships. They have showrooms, but all orders are done online. You always buy a Tesla car direct from Tesla.

I know the guy who created the Armadillos personally as used to work alongside and with him he sold the business for a healthy profit due to me working in security sector for over 20 years and still involved now but not as much, they aren’t as effective as having an actual guard they are just a cheaper way to secure your site , another great video mate, learn alot from your videos and help with my own audits up here 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😀

Oh bless him. It's a shame that either the state education system where he grew up, is below par, or that he is learning disabled. He's obviously not an intelligent man but he was at least polite and not rude. Nice of Tesla to hel[ people like him and give him a job though. Well done Tesla, even though I won't ever buy a Tesla because a/ I'm not wealthy, and b/ because they don't make large estate cars capable of towing a horse box. But they're great for wealthy poseurs.
