Mate, ur an inspiration and well motivated and a grafter, don’t take the sour comments to heart buddy, it’s easy to type a comment and often the person typing will regret how that comment looks on the screen. Tell Amy she is an inspiration, I’m not a sexist I’m 60 year old grafter still today working hard, it’s nice to see a girl like her going for it, it’s not easy for anyone let alone a young girl. Go for it girl, it’s tough but u will be ok.
Keep asking questions and having a go Amy, you’ll get there and it’ll become second nature to you. You can also rest assured that somewhere there’s another young girl watching Charlie’s channel and being inspired by seeing you do the job.

I'm an I.T. guy, your videos are truly an eye opener. Getting to see how all this is done and how the job isn't as easy as everyone says it is. Respect to you, Amy and all the others that do the job. Forgot to say I do private work down in sunny Cornwall, my missus works with me a lot, she’s 60, very fit, runs rings around the young lads, it just works, end game for us is another 18 months then sell up and retire to a nice villa in Turkey, so we just building up extra funds, but she’s a grafter and it helps keep her fit and strong.

Yeah very true she did 37 years in an office at HM Land registry, retired at 55 years old and started to come out with me, she loves it, goes to the builders merchants in the van, etc she’s a brilliant hoddy, I’ve never had such clean work areas, she deals with the customers better than me, they love her, all I do is build stuff. To be fair we don’t look our ages everyone thinks we’re in our 40’s, I gave up hiring wasters years ago, so stupid I used to sit in my van waiting for my labourer sometimes outside his house cos he couldn’t drive, I would wait for him like 40 mins in a morning, and he was lazy, how stupid was I, I was the boss, too soft mate, my missus has the gear in the van engine running giving me grief to get going. Haha.
You just have to keep teaching em bud. Great video. If your two apprentices will listen they will become good brick layers. It’s not an easy profession. Charlie’s at the top of his game !!!
I know it's stupid but those 2 knobs in the red hats gave me the hump standing behind Amy, I am old enough to be her father and after watching all you video's now I feel a little protective over her, call me crazy but I look forward to watching your video's every day and feel you are an inspiration to the trade my friend, keep it going with Amy and Harry and I know you will be growing your channel beyond your dreams, If I were 30 years younger, I would be by your side as my work ethic is exactly like yours.

Harry what a top lad looking forward to see him back on the trowel if anyone deserves it he does. I am in the same boat as Jamie would love to have a crack on site but the speed is the big issue as only do small amounts of brickwork hopefully he grabs the chance and takes it.

Watching from the USA and finally figured out the builder looking at the drawings. But curious to look up the development on their website cant seem to locate that. Could you tell me the development you are working on always interesting to see different world locations and how they build and plan out.

I notice that lots if not all the houses I see you work on have Gas boxes,is that the primary source of heating fuel in the U.K.?... Because in their U.S. we have Oil,gas and electric for our heat with... electric being the most expensive to heat with, followed by Gas and oil being the cheapest. Of course it changes depending on the economy but not that much.I prefer using oil myself.

@@simonsupersi2225 just a covering of cheap sand from ground workers pal. It’s normally power floated but it not a high finish because it’s normally latex before either carpet , tile or wooden floor is put down depending on customer desire.

Fuck me hard to get any bricks down expansion joints near doors, trays, stone sills, and whats all that sand on slab for if wind gets up it will be like working in Sahara desert. I am glad I build extensions think I might get more brick down haha. #frustratingasfuck
