I love you guys so much I remember being 16 years old and watching you guys every night after high school i’m almost 21 now and you still bring so much joy to my heart! Stay blessed
Lol, Sadie sounds like she's protesting that nap idea. Time to have a couple of horses on the farm for times like this. In Puerto Rico we always keep a horse on the land because you never know when the power is out and the gas pumps are not working. Love your channel 🙂
I’ve had a plan for a while… tried to get others involved. No one wants to. I’ve made progress on my own, but my search to get others involved has been a complete fail. Just gonna keep trucking and if I end up going it alone to the end so be it. This last year feels like a complete fail for me. I’m happy these people have each other.
Sadie is the luckiest little baby. Such a beautiful life you're making for her, she's with either one of you constantly, being apart of everything, all that visual stimulation & fresh air! You guys have great energy, I always look forward to your videos ❤️❤️
Kaylee’s realization that Jim Jones’ Kool Aid was poison literally was the best!!! 😂😂 Incredible video you guys! You both are rockstars taking that walk for food. Great questions, and great music for the walk! Love the 🍓…🙌🏼
That was the funniest moment on RU-vid today. First when she said “you’ve got to drink the Kool-Aid” I laughed, then the explanation and realization of the saying was hilarious. As a child of the ‘80’s Jim Jones Kool-Aid is a memorable news story and to see a younger persons reaction to learning what “drink the Kook-Aid” means makes me laugh (then feel old). Love your content. Just received a coffee order today.
@Ak Au. I do not believe anyone here would laugh about "drink the koolaid" and the story behind it. But Kaylee so embarrassed when she realized was funny and only because we know she would never have joked about that tragedy.
I love Kaylee's attitude, and have ever since the SCUBA classes, she went with her feelings, and was the rebel, I love that. She won't jump off a cliff, just because everyone else does. She is an example of what a good mother is. I hope Jordan treats her with the upmost respect for the rest of her life, or his life, what ever comes first. God Bless them.
I'm screaming because I didn't expect to get a video while I was at work!! There are very few people whose videos I literally WAIT on, you guys are one of them ❤️ I love the farm
These two are just amazing, and that baby didn’t cry once, in the sun, humidity, pouring rain, being hungry and tired. What an unbelievable family this is. I’d have hitch hiked before ever being able to do that long ass hike.
I don't have a question but wanted to say how much I've enjoyed watching Sadie grow. Seeing her laughing with Jordan was the best! Thanks for taking us on a hike!
You guys have the right attitude over what’s going on in Panama. It’s always good to do something different and out our our comfort zone. Sadie definitely enjoyed the walk. You guys are awesome. Love and be safe!🤗😘🌼🇻🇪
I usually hate when my channels that I subscribe to do Q&A videos because they're always done sitting in front of the camera, still, in one place and it's kind of boring to watch but this was awesome to watch! I love how real and authentic you guys do everything.
I hope you all remain safe during these trying times. Everything will be alright. Also everybody had some pretty good questions too so good job everyone.
I just have to add something else because when I watch you guys, there is so much love coming out of your hearts that is such joy all over your beautiful faces and those wonderful smiles that reach our hearts. Your honesty is above all very rewarding. MOM you are A GENUINE BADDDDASS!!! Hugs n love to everyone!!
Kaylee’s rocking it as a first time mama, any woman who can carry a baby all the way down a mountain and back up again breastfeeding twice without stopping is amazing. I have 4 kids and two grandchildren and I really don’t think I could of done that. Mother of the year goes to you. 🦋
Hello from reelfoot lake Tennessee I found your channel and went back and watched from the beginning of you guys moving to Panama. I just have to say watching you guys is very inspirational. You guys are truly amazing and what your doing is amazing! You guys make me want to be a better person and help others more! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you guys and I will continue to watch until you guys stop filming! Keep doing what your doing and always stay positive it’s contagious!! And little Sadie is the cutest baby ever!!
Oh youth! I don’t think I’d even attempt that hike…with a nursing baby…heavy groceries…in the rain.. but probably the greatest thing missing from me would be your enthusiasm! I can’t toss it all up to youth though. You two are such positive people! I’m so very impressed!!
I have never commented on your videos before, but Kalies - 'OH MY' comment about the cool-aid thing had me in absolute stitches. 😂 You both are brilliant and I love that you show your 'realness' in all of your videos!! Thanks for being you, and keeping it real. ❤️
Hi, regarding the mangos, if you peel the skin off the mango seed, in a pot of soil, and cover with soil the equivalent width of the seed. The mango plant will grow faster and you’ll have your own mangoes.
Hello from Philipsburg, Pennsylvania.🙋 Your walk reminds me of the late seventies when we walked a lot more and were the better for it. I am having fun watching you grow with your property. 🙋
I can't even tell you how proud I am of you guys right now. You are living my dream. The difference is mine was all in my heart and imagination, whereas yours is reality! Your positivity in every circumstance you encounter is just such an example to others. With everything that is going on in the world today, you are such a beacon of hope and reassurance that with folk like you around everything will be alright. I know it looks tough right now, but I promise you... We are at the precipice of something absolutely AMAZING. Love to you all on Lola's farm. So much love!
I really appreciate you showing the mistakes and failures of your journeys. I am getting older and having a rough time with my own continuous 'failure'; as if I thought I'd know everything and be able to do everything by this age. Watching you two helps keep me motivated in my own journey. I wish you two nothing but the best.
Best of wishes to all Panamanians during this difficult time. Kaylee and Jordan you are an incredible couple, parents and environmentalists. Thank you for sharing your adventures in life. You two are truly an inspiration. Times are also tough in Canada. It helps to see how you two containers Nueter to be positive and pleasant during trying times. Beans and Rice..... I love beans😍
You guys are the epitome of a power couple. I love how Kaylee always has a can-do attitude and is an amazing mother, and Jordan is a workhorse who is willing take take on any task to provide for his family. I love y’all and your videos.
Hey since I know you saw this, I’ve been trying to tell you.. from one carpenter to another Horizontal supports are BEAMS Vertical supports are POSTS Keep it up!!
My grandkids about your ages have a collapsible wagon with a little awning on it they put groceries and the baby in it . They take it with them everywhere they go. Lov you guys 😊🌻🐢🐢🐢💚
I just love you guys and your journey so much!!! Y'all are so inspirational and I check in every few days just to see if there's new updates!! I can't help but worry a little for you guys with the situation there in Panama. Because it's definitely tough and trying times!! But you guys are incredibly tough, resilient and so determined to succeed!! Y'all will make it through this and you're for sure being prayed for every day!! Thank y'all for taking us with you on your hike down and back up the mountain. That put things in a new perspective for me today, that even though I don't want to get outta of my comfy clothes and go grocery shopping, at least I don't have to hike 8 miles and then carry them by hand back up a mountain to get them home!! Stay safe y'all!! Oh and Jordan, you're totally right... Kaylee is a badass and so are you my friend!! ☺️
At least you guys get to take in the scenery on your walk. Sadie is so precious. This gas shortage keeps up and you guys will have to get a horse and donkey. Something to ride and something to haul the supplies back. You can even teach the goats to pack! 😊
Hi Guys, I,m Panamenian, 8 Tank Truck moving just 12:00 in this moment, so sorry for this situation, Its a honor to have you here. Sunday midday. This problem will be resolve in a few days.
This is the first video of yours I have seen. I am so impressed with your positive attitude and your over-the-top love for each other and your little one.
I’ve never watched your videos before but can see your kind hearts and positive minds. Funny thing about living abroad is it’s always different then people imagine. People are kind and some are not… make it great either way
I absolutely love that Kaylee is still breastfeeding naturally. Too many new Moms have been convinced it’s easier to pump and feed your baby from a bottle. I am not saying that’s not beneficial to the mom and baby, because it is; I am saying that it makes an awful lot of work and you don’t get the same bonding you do by actually nursing. Personally I nursed all 3 of my children and I can’t imagine doing it any other way. It was so easy. Milk was always ready and the right temperature, there weren’t bottles to wash and prepare, and in the middle of the night I could lay the baby next to me and doze while the baby nursed.
@@larisajeffrey2312 My opinion, which I am allowed to express. Your opinion is your opinion, which you are allowed to express. It doesn’t make one right and one wrong; it just makes them our opinion.
@@starflower703 for sure….but it is not your show. With all respect it was more about you. Yes it is your opinion. I love how Kaylee deals with her baby the sun shines on her.
Wow, I just discovered your channel and I subscribed and liked your video. You three are amazing. I look forward to watching all your adventures...brave souls. Sending love, a grandmother in Oregon
You guys just ROCK!!❤❤ And I agree with Kaylee...to live your lifestyle in the Panamanian mountain jungle, you must drink the "kool-aid" of living on and from the land, of treating the land and the animals with respect, of always striving to be kind, tolerant and loving toward those on the land with you. 🤩💚😍 Living without gas is tough, but it's going to be a reality for the planet sooner than we know. Thanks for showing us what it takes to make it work under difficult circumstances😎👍 Stay safe, be well and see ya next time👋👋👋
The kool aid reference is totally inappropriate as Jordan told Kaylee. Know the history of Jim Jones and his cult in Guyana. The adults knowingly killed themselves by drinking poison but they also killed their children. We are talking about 909 people.
Such a pleasant channel to come across. You guys are awesome. Love the teamwork ethic and how you guys always lift one another up. Blessings and safely I pray for you both and little Sadie.
Good early morning Jordan and Kaylee from New Zealand (it is currently 1:58 am here in nz) I just want to say hang in there you too my thoughts are with you…. I will watch the video after once I have had more sleep Sending hugs 🤗 🙏
When gas does come in again, I would suggest getting a fuel tank up at the farm. Many do here in the US, and keep it filled, consider your trips carefully etc., It might not be an investment you can do, but it is a suggestion. Also, if you have diesel, you could consider doing bio fuel. Our past neighbors made their own bio diesel, and we ran our VW on it from time to time in exchange for some work:)
Haha at 5:10 the “cool aid “ I appreciate you both on sharing. I think this is amazing. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Great attitudes. I’m in Tennessee learning homesteading. 🙌🦅🦅🦅🙌
Hi guys, well done on tough trek for food shop. Need a couple of bikes with bike trailer for shopping. Have been watching you from the beginning. Love you guys always from Cork City, Ireland. 🇮🇪😍☔👍
Yes, I agree there is “madness” here in the states, too. All in all, you’re living an environmentally friendly lifestyle & like they say “this too will pass”. Anyway, what a beautiful walk. Love you two!
@@guillermogouldburn763 Where is here? Wasn’t there protests and riots in Panama too. There is civil unrest for a reason. Hence, that’s why there is a road blockage. It’s the cause of the greater problem there.
@@ajsans9161There are protests. People are marching in the streets,, not looting, damaging property, and clashing with the police, except for one incident. Watch footage of the protests. Absolutely no riots. The price of fuel in Panama is $3.25 a gallon. And you heard what Jordan said about food prices in the video. People are protesting inflation, which is affecting the whole world for reasons we all know, but Panamanians want the governmet to fix it, regardless.
@@guillermogouldburn763 I was under the impression that there were riots as well because I saw fires. So I’m thinking, why start fires, if it’s supposed to be peaceful protests. Also, Panama has fuel shortages aside from food shortages and inflation. I realize it is bad everywhere. However, we are experiencing a lot of chaos in the US mostly because we have a pathological lying, illegitimate Brandon in the White House. Who is permitting the radical Leftist to turn the US into a disastrous socialist country.
Get a cart. You can also put the baby in but a get a small light weight cart. Skip the stroller. Couple of towels around the baby to cushion her & take turns pulling the csrt. Wood or metal. You could even allow 1/4 inch strips for rain drainage.
You guys are such good sports! That was fun. I have done a lot of long distance walking, 20 miles was the longest day for 14 days straight, and I know just how bad the feets can hurt, haha. I hope this gets resolved for you guys soon... maybe electric bikes for emergencies or self-sufficiency.
So glad you guys are able to get some supplies by foot. This has really made me think about how we would do similar if we couldn’t get gas. It was eye opening.
Oh my goodness such a long way to walk. You both are an amazing couple. I admire your commitment, through thick and thin. Oh how I wish you had one of those folding wagons. It would take the weight off your backs. Plus Sadie could ride in it. I smiled when you named the baby 🍼. Sadie was my great grandmother's name. I think Trent and Ally's little guy Leo is just a little younger than Sadie. I truly hope things will get better for you. Take care, stay strong, and don't over do it.
Love you guys! Your infectious positivity and pursuit of a self-reliant lifestyle brings me joy 😊❤ keep safe! Us Canucks look forward to your future adventures!
Nice to see that walk and get an idea of your actual distance from Boquete. I was there in May only for 2 days. First morning I walked north on that main road through Boquete. About 15 minutes the road splits and I took a right at the Y. Walked another hour north snapping up the landscape with my new 108MP Chinese phablet. I was thinking about contacting you guys and asking if I could pay a visit but I was only there for the weekend - had to be back in PC that Monday to pick up my licencia de conducir.
I loved that trip today. Count your blessings that you are both so strong and able to walk. It truly is a blessing. You spread such joy around in your daily life and to all your viewers. Your way of handling challenges is inspiring
I'm a motor head at heart. Idk if you guys know how to make alcohol, but you seem extremely handy around the house and such so here is a bit of advice, if you have a carburetor driven generator/motorcycle/car/truck/tractor. A gasoline engine will run on alcohol or alcohol mix (you can mix alcohol in to stretch the gas out further if you set yourself a formula and stick to it). You'll need richer carburetor jets, or to richen your mixture via the carburetor. Idle mixture adjusting screw should cover you. You'll need to make up your mixture and then start the engine up and then fine tune it richer to run more smoothly on the new mixture. But yes it's absolutely true. Then you can cover your own fuel needs so long as you have fruits to ferment and time. Not a bad idea to fire up and get going while you can. God bless you guys.
You are right that the US has its share of crazy. Doesn't Rodrigo have a bike, though? $20 worth of gas would go a long way. Thanks for taking us on your hike. It looked like a nice way to spend a day!
You guys make me cry every time i watch yall! Tears of joy and happiness ! You are amazing people and your journey warms my heart! Also you are amazing parents! I really appreciate your content!
Sheesh!! That was quite the walk😮 So Proud of you two for doing that so you can feed your family ❤️ Praying that things will return to normal for the people of Panama and may it come quickly... My favorite part of the video is at the end, Where your STILL SMILING!! WELL DONE🙏❤️🙏❤️
That was cool! I love seeing real life. Doesn’t get any more real than hiking with your baby in the rain to get groceries. As much as a pain as it was vs having excess gas, it was a great time of family bonding. 🥰
When you're old as I am, you're going to remember days like this one, and be amazed at life at your age. I said, recently to a younger friend, 'I remember when I was only 62, I walked up Mt. Snowdon', [N. Wales]. 19 yrs. ago.
Hi Guys, I was born in Panama. Raised in Ma. and live a few minutes from Vt. And my daughter's name is Sadie and she is now 32 years old. Small world. I admire your family and yearn to go back home one day. Thanks for sharing. 😀💌
Yet another happy video. with all the things you have going on it's lovely to watch you both laugh your way through them, and Adie was doing a great job of holding the umbrella and keeping you dry. Stay Safe, Hugs UK
