No happy ending? 

It was such a beautiful video and learning about her story. Right afterwards, I was so shocked to read what happened. Within 10min, it was quite an emotional rollercoaster from seeing her getting better to knowing this is the only video we'll get to see of her. I think she appreciated everything you did for her and enjoyed all the moments with you. Thank you for sharing her story with us.

I have cared over 200 sick pigeon babies. Was she initially passing dark green poops? If yes, that is coccidiosis which in youngsters needs treatment: quinoxaline (no any other drug works). Coccidiosis damage the bowel wall and the bowel cannot digest the food anymore. The crop gets blocked and candida invade the crop, then the entire body. The bird dies in convulsions when candida reaches the brain. This if somehow the bird doesn't die from aspiration caused by blocked crop (dies gasping the mouth). Also, sometimes the coccidiosis damage the neuronal transmitters and the baby cannot move legs at all. This may explain why she was keeping the legs like that. Solution is to give treatment with A vitamin (in formula ADE vitamin complex, from veterinary drugstore or pet shop). Give this vitamin until birds gets better, but it may remain with sequels, not moving the legs properly for rest of her life.. But I think most commonly, human-cared weak birds die from aspiration of water / liquid food. any pressing on crop while there is liquid in it makes the liquid go into mouth and from there enter lungs Other cause of death could been the medication you gave. If medication damaged her liver, she should have passed bright yellow poops after treatment.

She wasn't prening but trying to escape the harness. The harness contributed to the stress that killed her. Do not do anything that can stress a bird, especially a sick one. They are very impressionable sand stress literally kill them (causes release of two deadly hormones)
