First off, great video and skills! Also, I made my own freeboard and was wondering, what should I use for straps? I’m getting good enough without them but I want to start doing jumps now. Thanks

Jack Walters nothing works better than the bindings that Freebord makes. I would suggest buying a pair of bindings from Freebord.com

Is coasting/rolling as easy as a normal longboard

CwEditsAndMore ‘ it’s a little awkward at first, but with practice it can be just as easy as a normal skateboard

Ya cant go straight but you can go from side to side. The only straight is balancing on center wheels that are like ripstick wheels. Its perfectly doable when you have the muscle memory for it

Very impressive! I doubt people who don't Freebord fully appreciate how difficult it is to pull off must of the things you did in this video. Do you still ride?

I still want to know if it is possible to freebord without bindings. I know you can't use it as a regular skateboard that has a tail and nose, therefor you can't ollie or do some tricks, but what about pushing if you just wanted to cruse.

Aria Newell-Sowash freebording without bindings is completely doable. Some people prefer it actually.

I hate doing it. My foot falls off and I do the splits. Skateboards have curves to make sure this doesnt happen

do freebords roll/coast about the same as or much worse than a typical longboard? in other words, does it take a lot more effort to get around/cruise on a freeboard than a normal longboard?

Cody Rockwell once you are comfortable pushing around on a Freebord, it doesn’t take much more effort than a normal skateboard does. However, if your looking for a commuting skateboard, a Freebord is not ideal

Its all about the time and dedication that you put into it. It will ride just as easy but its a different animal compared to a longboard

@@lukemiller5924 Why is it less ideal for commuting? My biggest gripe is there aren't much freeboard learning videos online and most are from many years ago
