@@strongestnattyever-videos2247 I played college and a little Independent. So I’ve been around the game N of course I know what a quick pitch is but he’s doing no such thing.
If you read this Jack, you're doing a great job of controlling your emotions. Never let them see you excited or frustrated - just keep calm and keep throwing no matter the situation. It drives hitters and teams crazy. You will learn as you get older that a ton of this game is psychological
I get it's showcasing pitchers, but this was bad baseball. Both catchers were lazy and had bad fundamentals, outfielders had bad reads/routes, infielders made those poor firstbasemen work, and even the ump struggled (called 3rd strike to end the first and the play @10:00) Looked like JV baseball.
@@rrameir i said work , i dont said bad mechanic and can definitely improve his mechanics a lot and have a much smoother delivery. The kid is awesome I never said his mechanics was bad .
@@Carly4x4 if he’s throwing in the upper 90s he’s found movement patterns that work best for him, regardless of if they’re smooth or not. You’re just spouting bs trying to make it sound like you know what you’re talking about, you don’t.
@@rrameir I used to throw 89 when I was u 15 in cuba , went to the EIDE school of national sports in cuba and the trainer told me my mechanic were shit , than they help me to top 92mph , you could throw fast and have a bad mechanic, idk you told you thoowing hard makes you have excelente mechanics.
@@Carly4x4 you just compared throwing 89 to throwing 98 mph, further proving that you don’t know what you’re talking about. You clearly don’t get how in sync your body needs to be to throw upper 90s.
4 pitch walk… Good velo but go to college. The Dayton commit is very average. Sorry but upper East Coast ball is garbage. The games there are always in slow motion. It’s all about west coast, southwest and the South.
This isn’t the best the northeast has. Sure top to bottom few places can beat Florida, cali, etc. but there are some New England schools that are REALLY good. Phillips academy and Winchendon are examples
@@mattreynolds981 Matt, 95 is outstanding but I agree, he needs to be refined. If the money is right, you go pro but if the signing bonus isn’t 7 figures, he can go to college and fine tune his arm. You can’t teach 95!! Ha.
@@chadmanl2121 agreed 95 is a gift and refining with probably be 98 soon. Hopefully it helps because too many kids are the best pitcher in their area and wash out
@@mattreynolds981 You know too well Matt. It’s so hard to play in the big leagues. I read these kids claiming they’re going to pitch in the show or know someone who throws 90 and wants to play in the league! It’s just ridiculous! I watched a high A game in SoCal and every pitcher was mid 90’s!!!! Single A ball!
@@BoostedGT2 Small world. Same trade here. I pitched too, got a look from Cleveland. Division 3 for a year, some intercity type semi pro leagues, got close, didn't pan out. 👍
@@notsofast6611 that’s awesome dude, always wanted to try and go pro, I loved pitching, I perfected a Wakefield Knuckle, the stitching on the ball wouldn’t spin a millimeter in the air, still can throw it! Just not as fast anymore
@@notsofast6611 I threw 4SFB, Knuckle ball, 2seam, I kinda sorta knew how to throw a slurve but the knuckle was my specialty, never threw sliders or curves really, never learned them
