What I love about this interview, and any interviews that talk and knew Kanye from day 1, they always say the same things about him. Ye has always said he's the best, or going to be the best, with the biggest ego and confidence. I hate when ppl say "we want the old Ye back", and it pisses me off saying he's changed so much, but in reality he's always been the same person he is today
It's crazy to think just how long Common has been out, putting out music. I mean he dropped before Nas and Jay. I wonder why more people don't put Common In their top 5 greatest of all time lists
Been a Common fan for years. He has 3 albums that hurt his legacy. Electric Circus ( way ahead of its time), Universal Mind Control ( too electric coming off of BE and FINDING FOREVER). And Dreamer Believer ( I loved the album but it was marketed wrong. At this point folks saw him more as an actor than rapper). Just my theory.
Jay-z is versatile, Nas a little bit. Common have been rapping the same since Can I borrow a dollar ?. And ofcour his less agressive and more soulful like A.Rashad said
Kanye should be calling NO I.D. his mentor and big brother not JayZ. And Jay Z didn't even co-sign him, it was Damon Dash. When he was about get robbed, it was Damon Dash and Beanie Sigel who saved him. I think was all a marketing and industry thing for him to call Jay Z is big brother.
Well he's been documented on more than one occasion giving NO ID his props and he actually stated that he was his mentor. Dame only signed him for his beats Kanye made his own career happen.
No, I got the best Kanye story ever, about no id. and dug inf. trying to get rid of Kanye before he got on just when he was making a name for his self in chicago.
First comment hey whoever uploads the videos over there a hot 97 2 mins ago go grab Ebro and ask why he never shows Seattle ANY love and tell him if he's a real one hell hit me back
***** just underground.there are no labels or big name rappers besides macklemore (who I don't rock wit ) to collaborate with or get your name out.its hard to get a look anyway from the 206
Love his music, but No. I.D. is amazingly inarticulate. This is the first interview were I was happy Berg and the other guy interjected to explain or lead the conversation.
