I think I’ve commented this before somewhere in your main channel, but you’re one of the few content creators I’ve managed to watch consistently without realizing how long it’s been. When you mentioned how many people had been watching since the music reactions, I had to think for a second to realize it’s been that long. I remember going on a high school trip and downloading your entire Love Island game series after having watched a couple of your videos. And I don’t know how, we’re still here. You consistently make me laugh without meaning or expecting to. To this day, in my mind you’re still a serious film commentary channel with a few jokes that always (and I mean ALWAYS) catch me off guard. I personally didn’t notice any changes on that (or anything on that matter, xd) because - again -, in my brain you’re still the guy I occasionally get recommended videos about (even though I've watched every single one and I’ve now realized I’m subscribed to both your channels). It goes to show, not only how genuine you are in your videos, but also how much we genuinely like you (ew) and your work. Following you all this time has felt effortless. Like meeting a long time friend you haven’t seen in a while but it feels like nothing’s changed. Just pure comfort. How genuine the concerns from other fans are and their kind feedback it’s a direct reflection of who you are and what you put out as a content creator. We appreciate you, I guess!

The scar from dwnp is very real. I would rewatch your music reaction videos nearly every day when it was still around, the commentary, the attention to lyrics it was peak entertainment to me. I watched your video announcing the channels deletion, I didn’t remember when exactly, so it came to a shock to me when mid rewatch (channel orange reaction) the video froze and went grey from being nuked. Truly I miss it, it is my Roman Empire and I think of that channel once a week.

I thought your Saltburn video was still pretty focused on the filmmaking aspect of it. Your analysis on the framing and camera angles and lighting was super strong in that video. It's a reason I like Saltburn despite its shortcomings, it's visually a very interesting movie. But overall I think it's important that we accept changes from our favorite youtubers. It's comforting for us to have a routine and style delivered to us, but we can also recognize that you're an individual who wants to keep things fresh and interesting for yourself. No matter what, I've continued to enjoy your content over the years and I've loved everything new you've brought in, like beer and movie. Keep on keeping on 👌

Personally, I like the "on-the-fly" commentaries that aren't scripted. However, I do enjoy when you pause to add further, more developed thoughts in editing (the voiceover, as you said). So anything that's mostly comedy reaction with injections of processed commentary is my favorite.

For me, the comedy is what sets the fun vibe of the video, but your ability to critically analyze media is the real substance of your content. Like the way you broke down that scene from Saltburn where the camera doesn’t move once was so interesting and was not something I would’ve noticed on my own. Feels like RU-vid premium lol

It makes perfect sense why you want to reduce the filmmaking stuff in the videos, but to me at least, it has become the best part of your videos. I’ve started noticing the stuff that you say in movies that I watch, and it has just confirmed in my head that film is the path I want to follow in my life, so you talking about how a certain shot would’ve been better or why the whole story can be predicted sometimes just by a simple soundtrack or direction style makes me really happy, it’s sort of a spoiler into what I hope my life will be like career wise. In fact, you’re one of the main reasons I’ve realized I enjoy the production side of movies so much, and not just being in front of the camera. This may sound selfish, but just wanted to let you know how much that side is enjoyed aswell, and even thought college is a scam (you’ve said it enough times it’s engraved in our brains), the things you talk about make me want to do that path too. Just wanted to say this, so thank you!
