Asantehene is no doubt a great king, but the influence he wields could be used in developing the kingdom and especially Kumasi. It is engulfed in filth, and doesn't befit his status. He doesn't collect taxes, but he can spearhead and influence the beautification of the city, my take.

How many kingdoms do we have in Ghana? Only one Kingdom, that's, Asante Kingdom. Asantehene has about 65 paramountcies under Otumfuor excluding those chiefs running away from Asante Kingdom. All the other chiefs in Ghana are equivalent to the paramountcies under Otumfuor.
