Shallow stack nlh is pretty boring. Please make it at least 200bb deep. I'd way prefer to watch 500/1000 with a 200k max than 1000/2000 with a 200k max, because we see more high level poker and complex high spr spots. Even worse with the 4k straddle, which makes it a 50bb game. Still appreciate the hell out of all involved for giving us this content for free.

Really? I'm not saying you're necessarily wrong but don't you feel like, from the perspective of a spectator, that the larger blinds/antes/straddles makes for a quicker game w/more money going in every pot, which then leads to more big decisions more often...?

51:50 Tony's "Qualify" means hitting the flop in any way possible (usually a pair or flush draw or straight draw at the minimum) and having potential to improve in the next 2 streets...if some don't know.

Tony G is my hero. He's an observational comedian that needs the game for subject matter 🤣. I love watching him play. He makes what would be called foolish decisions but somehow pulls a win out of them. Who else has the patience and confidence to play say a 7-3 offsuit with nothing on the flop to pull the win out of the river!?!?! Its like he can read minds. And he gets soooo lucky. Though I suppose he has lost his ass more than a few times... they just don't get televised. I think all his chatter and goofing make him impossible to read and make his opponents have a hard time thinking at all. And then they get steamed and wanna beat him so bad just to shut him up... which doesn't work lol.

Rui is tricky, that is not his only range. He is capable of quick checking a king on the turn to trap Tom, and of bluffing Tom on the river even after checking back turn imo. I actually think the raise is pretty spewy, esp considering rui folded one of the few value hands Tom was hoping he would pay off with

@@Nuksukow lol, you personally would NEVER raise there, neither would majority of the high stakes players, only a clown doesnt recognize a good play, its so fucking easy to sit infront of your computer and saying that this line is "always 77-TT", yes of course it is when you can see the cards. Even if Tom is putting him on middeling pair which is 66-TT, that also gives 66 and 88 in this range, which is 30% of the all possible combos. Yeah sure raising is strong but sometimes Rui also shows up with K9-KT-KJ-KQ and that wants to pot control the turn given that Dwan actually 4 bet preflop. Tom has alot of AK in his range and checking back worse kings is definetly possible. He is definetly also sometimes trapping sometimes with the one combo of K8dd.

@@Nuksukow Nobody knows your opponents tendecies to a 100%, All people always deviate sometimes from their usual plays. Lol, you are clearly clueless, if you always plays the same with your nutted hands you will obviously get exploited, especially at these levels. You cant just throw % out there claiming them to be correct, you seem to be so out of it since you can see the cards, you undervalue the value in seeing them. Sitting at the table its a whole other ball game, and i can promise you that most highstakes player doesnt raise in these types of spots, even if they are pretty certain they have the best hand. from a GTO perspective this raise is suicidal, but Tom Dwan isnt really the cover boy for GTO. Thats the reason people like to watch him play, because he unlike most people does plays like this.

Baui Gee talked Tom Dwan into calling by saying his own motion with the chips was unprofessional, in which Tom interpreted as a bluff. The commentator said, "Baui hasn't said a word," not realizing that Tom was saying, "I think you talked me into it," because of what Baui said in regards to his betting motion which he described as unprofessional.

I started watching poker videos like this to learn the game of poker. Had zero idea how to play, and was tired of seeing references in movies and stuff and not knowing what the hands meant. It's Tony G, that keeps ke coming back to watch poker though. If he's at the table, I'll watch it. Such an interesting character haha 😁

Dwan raised the river because Rui Cao cold called a 3-bet on the flop which tilts him towards 1010 and 99 a lot, hence why you shouldn’t cold call 3-bets…

I cannot stand Paul Phua. He is the biggest nit in the world and he is always dragging these games down. He constantly refuses to straddle, or add the side games, or do anything at all. Then he laughs in your face with that dumb grin which is the most tilting part of all. If he didn't own Triton he wouldn't be invited.

What made it so great was that Dwan check raised the river. If Dwan would’ve led with a bet of 30k-60k , Cao probably calls. But the fact that Dwan check raised was such a great move
