I commend you for doing these tutorials. The bytebeat is so unintuitive it hurts. Obviously I'm used to it by now, but for most people I'm sure its just plain overwhelming. Someones gotta teach it, and you're doing a great job!
Thank you Tron 😊 Yes, handling this thing can be a bit tricky, especially as there's no official Hello Games guides for it (didn't find much useful info in game about this). Hopefully, these tutorials will help more people get into it as I'm guessing there's a lot of untapped creative potential out there.
I’m coming back to No Man’s Sky after a year, and as a music production enthusiast, I was so excited to see this update. Thanks for the insanely descriptive guide, I’ll be sure to subscribe for more videos!
Hey, thank you for your comment & subscription. Great to see another music aficionado in the NMS community. Hopefully, you found this guide useful 😊 Also, if you're into music production & if you're planning on tinkering with ByteBeats, check out the most recent NMS dev update on their official site - you'll see info on the ByteBeat community & on a ByteBeat music radio called NMSFM where you can hear stuff made ingame. Also, if you do make some sweet music, try contacting VeritasVelez on Twitter if you'd like your stuff to be on the radio as well 😉
I’ll definitely check out the radio, I love interacting with communities and I’ve already gotten into making music with a few friends and my brother. I’m glad there’s a RU-vidr who’s this informative and kind, I’ll be sure to send your channel link to some of my friends and I hope your channel becomes even more popular :)
@@hazelskiesalt Great to see you've already gotten to work on some music. Btw, if you make some videos of music in No Man's Sky & publish them, we also have a subreddit r/NMSByteBeatFans so feel free to post your stuff there as you wish. 🙂 In regards to this community, as I'm a bit biased (as I'm part of it), I'll refrain from commenting too much, but I'll say that interacting with the NMS ByteBeat community & creators has brought me lots of joy & happiness. Also, thank you for your kind words & the willingness to share my channel with your friends - this means a lot to me & seeing that folks enjoy what I do & are willing to spread the word brings warmth to my heart 😊
Hey DadGuy, glad you closely watch the videos and notice the details I put in (they do squeeze quite a bit of time out of me, but I wouldn't want it any other way 😁). Oh, and thank you kind soul, I will take that hug 🤗
Unless they've changed how the ByteBeat switches work in 2 years, they don't always have to be powered. I made a detector that turns on only at night using an auto switch, inverter, a normal switch and a solar panel. This way, the switches only come on to power the lights at night. The lights are hard to see during t he day, so what's the point having them waste power? Even if the power is effectively unlimited.
In the new frontiers update they allow only 2 byebeat switches to connect per one byebeat device... hope it is just a glitch soon to be corrected. Can you confirm?
@@nanosam7883 means 16 lights max possible...they can't be serious... ! I tried to glitch a third bbwire by switching with electrical wire without clear success. You might try it and come back to me with that please?
@Samirouki Hmm, haven't been building much with the new system yet, and haven't tried glitching. I'd advise going to our subreddit (r/NMSByteBeatFans) and asking this question as there are higher chances some1 may be able to help you in there. Best of luck, hope you'll find a way past these new limitations 🙂
@@nanosam7883 thanks for the tip. But I tried it recently. It works at least for 6 byebeat cables per device maybe more. Just glitch electric wire with bb cable on the back of the bbdevice
