Ive been camping for over 40 years now but still remember beginning much like you guys, figuring out which gear works and replacing that which doesn't or ditching gear that remains unused. Good on you for getting out there !
Wow 40 years..that's amazing. You are so true ...finding new items for camping ... its so tempting to buy all the stuff. Thanks for connecting with us and sharing this comment 😊
Thanks for watching 😊. The power supply we use is from Bluetti with solar. Model EB70.... it's great. During the drive it charges and also keeps the fridge running. No complaints
Just found your channel. Lovely and very informative. My husband and I got retired and started car camping. Too bad about many campgrounds being closed at the moment due to heavy rain. Anyway, could i know the brand name of your portable gas burner and the water tank with tap. Are they recommendable? Thank you and look forward to your next adventure.😄
Thank You soo much for connecting with us ☺️. We are glad you loved our content ❤️. The portable gas burner is "Ridge Ryder Butane Stove Single Burner" and the water tank is "Pro Quip Water Carry Can 22 Litre Green". Both items were bought from Supercheap Auto. You will also find a tap to go with the can. Both items are good and we have used 4-5 times now. However for the gas you will need a cover if the wind is strong. We are yet to buy one. Some stoves have this or you can buy a table that has this cover. Feel free to reach out if you have other queries. Happy Camping 🏕️
Thank You 😊... animals like kangaroo or wombat might roam around the tent but normally will not come inside. Some remote areas might have tree iguanas but they also tend to shy away. You need to be careful with reptiles if the campground is remote. After dark we normally stay inside the tend and have power lights and torches just in case we tent to go out. For insects you can get specific lights that keep them away. Feel free to reach out if you have more queries. 🙋🏻🙋🏻♀️
