So proud of Carly in her therapy journey. Can defintely see the difference in her confidence and willingness to speak her own opinions versus when the podcast first started. Also really appreciate that she understands and is comfortable enough to talk about mental health not being linear and that she may eventually need to return to therapy. Reading all the comments I think we can all agree that this friendship is so relatable because Carly and Erin are both so different and that’s part of the magic. I don't mean to be a cringe equinox stan, but just have to share a perspective. Equinox is $240 now. If you go 4 times a week, that's $15/class. You literally just show up: free parking, shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q tips, cotton rounds, WARM towels, cold eucalyptus towels, face towels, lockers, a steam room, and yoga, cycle, strength, HIIT, treadmill, pilates, and more CLASSES.. included... There are plenty of HIIT and strength training classes with 5-20 people depending on the time of day. These are similar classes to what a personal trainer would be having you do. In comparison.. reformer pilates classes are about $35+ in LA and you have to pay for parking, a towel, a locker, bring all your own stuff, and have to wait to shower when you get home. If you went 4x a week, that's $530+/month without taxes. Equinox isn't cheap, but Erin's over-exaggeration deserved a correction in case anyone was excited to try it free for 3 days and sign up in 2024. It's completely changed my mental health and how I show up for myself and workouts and my fitness "community" (I've made a few friends there!). I love it, but I also go 5 times a week, even if it's just to steam and shower. :)
