Big Sean is the classic case of “when you’re not negative, they think you’re weak” 🤦🏽♂️ we gotta do better. This dude is changing things generationally. How can you not respect that?? Sean a goat fs

kanye is not alive. killed and replaced. this is the reason all anye releases are trash. wake up. hes been killed and replaced with a lokalke or clone - tik tok has any videos of this, clearly an imposter
Ngl when he started crying about his mom asking him what he’s doing that shit brought me to tears too. Ppl don’t even understand the doubt and struggle we go through as independent artists tryna make it smh. I love this interview! 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I’m going back to recording more music as soon as it’s over! P.S. make sure y’all check out my album! It’s going CRAZY! 🔥🤝💯
@@paulmbahrt you’re absolutely right, that’s why it was emotional. So many don’t get that same type of support from the ones that are supposed to love them when the world doesn’t. I’m extremely talented but I definitely didn’t get the necessary support. It’s not over though, I’ll build my own support system through my fans. 💯💯🤝

Damn.. When he broke at the 28min mark, so did I.. Tears streamed right down my face... I've always loved Big Sean's energy on and off mic.. 🫶🏽 Such a beautiful man inside and out. I wish I could give him the biggest hug.. 🫂
That's a strong might. Unless you know him like you know the people you Love in life? Without that personal experience , the possibility is merely an idea amongst a world of "maybes"... Food for thought on how we perceive famous ppl.
@@keysersoze7213 Nahh trust me, he has the right to be called more than likely/might be be the most humble because I've followed him for several years. Man either that or he's the best at holding down a character role.
@@dvonfelix8088 Facts, the thing I like about Big Sean is all his albums have songs I like. His finally famous mixtapes are fire. He came out when I was in university.
Hearing him speak about his mom made me cry! Kids sometimes don't understand how much we sacrifice to make them happy. She did a great job raising him! 💜
Hearing him talk about anime, fatherhood, ups and downs, and overall expression of self. I relate so heavily. And this really helped heal me by association of this small interview. Thank you for allowing us to experience this
He is so genuine, and i love how he holds the essence of him...close. Not here to be exploited for nothing. Mad Respect to him as an artist and a Man and a new Father. BLESS
As refreshing as this video is of Sean. It’s just makes me think damn I never had no family or anyone to hold me down. It just shows how important having a foundation is in being successful. I never had a support system whatsoever.
I gained more respect for Big Sean with this interview so far. I think he’s bigger than rap. In the sense that, he’s more of a spiritual/intellectual figure that can provide more to the world as opposed to through music. I liked a few of his songs but I think his true calling is motivational speaking and life coaching.
Man Sean deserves so much respect and his flowers too. I remember taking the train to high school everyday and starting off my morning with Nothing Is Stopping and the entire HOF album, that motivated me so much. Even now, the music he releases gives me so much motivation. I’ll forever respect Sean man 🫡
It's funny how things that most of us (men) feel is a weakness or is a bad look, is actually strength and powerful. Very much appreciate witnessing that real moment of Big Sean and his mom. Definitely reminded me of my mom and my connection to her and even how much I didn't get to connect. She passed in 1994. Much respect Sean.
I was like what makes him think he can ask his business??? He was too aggressive in the Kanye talk. Sean handled that well, this man put him on, we had our issues but I'm past it.
He's a journalist and interviewer, and it's a subject that's been in the media ( I guess ). What do you expect him to keep his questions on the "what's your favorite color" variety?
@@lakerfan1855if you say so....Eminem, Wayne, Nip and so many others have given this man his flowers and other than Ye is the best selling artist on Good Music so please elaborate.
Man im so thankful for Big Sean mf bout to make me cry at work because I feel that same way about my dreams. He so lucky to have a good mama that inspired him. Such a beautiful story man.
Hell no he can't be compared to those two especially not kendrick rappers like Isaiah rashad mick Jenkins Denzel curry jid griselda all clear sean to hell 😂
Was already a fan of big sean. But this interview, just shows how honest and open he is. He clearly values truth, love and respect above all. I just became a fan
Great interview! Shout out to his mom! Parents don't understand how important their support is. My mom was amazing but I wished she supported my passion a little bit more. She wanted me to go to college and get a good job which I did but I'm not as fulfilled as I would've been if I was able to turn my passion into my work. Parents, don't let your kid's dreams die! I can't wait to have kids so i can go all in on helping them make their dreams come true!
Gotta understand where he’s from to even understand why this man doesn’t respond to every single negative energy. You can’t live like that in Detroit, you literally have to choose peace. Shout out to Big Sean for having the kind of peace people can’t understand and money can’t buy . 🙏🏾❤
This interview showed me, true maturity is learning that when you hear words in a certain and delivered from a raw vulnerable space, and your mind is open, your attention is undivided, and your locked in, and you begin to shed tears with someone you don’t know but you just wanna reach out and say thanks for getting me to feel something, bruh you’re not obligated to you’re wanted, you may not be loved by the world but you are loved by God and appreciated by who is privileged to encounter your bruh this his at that point when his mom stepped in, just havin someone in your corner when no one eles is reminds you that’s God sayin don’t be afraid just believe as he did to Jairus 🙏🏾 thank you Charlemagne this and Pastor Steven interview with you had me see you differently and this had me appreciate you and Ben if I don’t agree with everything you say or do, and Sean mannnn thank you forreal, ima grown man cryin but not ashamed so if I get cooked well at least I had this moment thank God, stay blessed 🙏🏾
I love his humility honesty and humanity. It’s rare to see anyone be this open, but to see someone you glorify be so human is eye opening. His advice and journey to accepting that life is our opportunity to make a difference is inspiring! Love this ❤
Big Sean is one of the greatest of our generation. He’s a lyricist. Not to mention he’s a part of the best freshman class of rap/hip hop. ‘09 Freshman Class: Drake, J.Cole, Big Sean, and Wale
Excellent conversation! This interview allowed us to see Sean in his entirety. This is what I believe DJ Hed meant when he said that artists need to go back to doing interviews. Sure, you can tell your thoughts, opinions, & the like by going live from your phone, but it's in the conversation aspect with someone who understands the nuances of interviewing where you can shine & get out of your own head. Thanks CTG... thoroughly & expertly done! Keep going 💜
Thoroughly enjoyed this and I usually hate these long ass interviews! Grownups aint got 2 hours to devote to each podcast but this one was worth it. Now I gotta run back and listen to his Jay Shetty episode 🏃🏾♀️➡️🏃🏾♀️➡️🏃🏾♀️➡️
This interview was so needed. I adore the growth of Big Sean. Great sitting. Iconic. Legendary. Detroit 2 still my favorite shit. Sean in my Top 5 fasho. 🐐
I fuck with Big Sean and his mentality SUPER HEAVY, and his determination to be a better version of himself is what I'm always striving for. Commendable Artist 🙏🏽✨🍃👁️
I always appreciate Sean's articulation through certain questions. Sean's the type of rapper to summarise an answer with sincerity as opposed to blunt ego. You can really learn from him!
16:08 is so true. I remember Sean’s first bodies of work around 2009-2011 at a time when aggressive rappers was still kind of the norm. He still flourished with his cadence and dope punchlines. He was like a cross between Fabolous and The Joker.
Mmmmm not necessarily....in a nut shell..he just said relationships are bitter sweet and it takes time to get to know and understand a person. I definitely understood where he was coming from.
@@alabamabornball9957I’m not gonna lie being together as long as they been having a child they are acting in the way of a marriage.. he skated past it, all marriage is. is the second commitment
Was always a supporter of this young brother. This interview, the power in his vulnerability at certain points throughout, is one of several reasons why. Salute to Sean…wishing you continued success fam. Well done Charlemagne 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I genuinely enjoy his interviews a lot. He’s super genuine and you have to be in a certain place to really understand him. He almost had me at my corporate office crying my eyes out 😫. There’s so many gems and so many moments to point out but just wow. The questions were fire too.
I love when Charlamagne interviews like this. Very therapeutic and good conversation. This type of conversation should be what a "normal" conversation looks like to everyone.
This is exactly why I fvck w/ Big Sean. He is a real man. He cares deeply for his family, craft and community. I respect the vulnerability and story. His passion for spiritual truths is inspiring. Thank you for being you and sharing your dreams. I am happy to be on earth while you’re here as well.
