You know how bad it is when we COUDNT replicate CJ’s old voice well.
his old voice was so badly made in the technical level that no good musician on my team could properly recreate the absolute mess that is his old voice.
‪So, even if we didn’t change his voice for rebooted, we wouldn’t have been able to make new songs. The musician who made CJ’s old voice left the team months ago, there is no one else who can replicate that mess of a voice‬

If you look closely at old CJ’s poses, you can see text on top of his head and around his body. When inverted, they say “you did this”, “you caused this”, “look what you did” and “you broke me”

I know I'm late to commenting, but I'd love to see "dough" CJ make his way into the lore of On Command and its universe, maybe interpreting him as a die hard fan of the band who would go to extreme lengths to impersonate CJ in anyway he can, going so far as to genuinely attempt to fool others into believing he's the real CJ. Of course this is just my idea and I doubt it would actually happen, I moreso would just like to see what others think of the idea.

I like the new sprites that are used during the song, we can see how Cj loses patience in this order: 1:03 He's a little angry but calms down, like 'This is for fun Cj it's not a competition who has the best voice' 1:27 Here we can see that the patience of hearing the voice of the old Cj is running out and if there was a dialogue, he would say something like, "OK SHIT COPY LET'S SEE IF YOU CAN DO SOMETHING WITH THAT INSUFFERSIBLE VOICE" the rest of the song is being upset and crazy

It's like there's an art form to making CJ's old voice sound the way it did since nobody else could wrap their head around it, it's astonishing even if it's technically worse than the new vocals I must give applause to the old musician for being able to do something nobody else could replicate.

Bro, I have three things to say about this: 1: Loaf of bread and Homer Simpson's shirt? WHAT??? 2: In the CJ on the left, which is the one with the current voice in the reboot of the Starlight Mayhem mod, it only replaced the Sprite but not the movements, which was pretty cool and pretty funny too 3: Despite all that, this Cover Mix was also pretty cool, of course👍

Y'know, Chris, I'm glad that you decided to give CJ a new voice for the Rebooted update of Starlight Mayhem. It sounds a lot better than his old voice. But even though his speaking is provided by Cougar MacDowall, I've started to imagine his voice sounding similar to Sonic the Hedgehog (Roger Craig Smith's interpretation, to be precise). Since his old voice was sampled from Sonic and a character from The World Ends With You, I think it would be kind of funny to hear CJ speak with a voice similar to Sonic, but still have his new and improved singing voice. Wouldn't you agree?

Anyone with a keen eye may have noticed Old CJ has text on some of his sprites. The text is backwards, but when read forward, they spell out: "You did this." "Look at what you did." "You caused this." Edit: This somehow slipped past me, but there's another bit of text that says "Do-eh ."
