The mental image of seeing Stain about to stab Butcher after paralyzing him... only for his sword to shatter and break and the camera pans to a now empty injection sticking out of Butcher's neck as his eyes glow red and he smiles and starts moving again makes me want to see this MU more now

Pre Fight: In an abandoned apartment, a man enters into it: the terrifying leader of the Boys named Billy Butcher. He makes a call on his phone. Butcher: MM, is he here? Mother's Milk (phone): Yep. Swingwing's all tied up for you here. He should have information for you about Homelander and Vought. Butcher: Good. Butcher hangs up and walks into the apartment. Far up on the roof, a mysterious figure is perched on top, watching Butcher before he leaves. Butcher kicks a door into a room where a Vought-sponsored Supe is tied and bound to a chair. Butcher: Wake up. Now, you can either tell me what you know about Homelander and Vought or I can bash your fucking teeth in. Butcher's captive doesn't move. Butcher: Oi. Pretending to play dead won't work. Butcher kicks the Supe into the chest onto the floor, where his throat is revealed to have been slit open. Butcher: Bloody hell. Butcher lifts the corpse of Swingwing. He pauses and throws the corpse behind him where it is suddenly cut into two by unknown blades. The same figure from earlier lands in front of Butcher. Butcher: I saw you on the roof earlier. You're not very good at hiding, right? The individual stalking the leader of The Boys is the hero killer from Japan, known only as Stain. Stain: It wasn't about you. It was about sending a message. I've heard all about the false, selfish heroes of this country. They all sicken me. Someone must purge them all from this world. Someone must teach you all the real meaning of the word 'hero'. Butcher: Look, I don't really give a fuck about whatever holy moral mission you're on. That Supe right there? I needed him alive. Stain: He led a man to his death. He was no hero. He was a villain. Butcher: You and I have different views on the word 'villain', mate. From my view, you're just as bad as the rest of these Supes. Stain: I've heard about you. You kill these false heroes just as much as I do. But what do you do to make this world a better place? Killing without a purpose is meaningless. Butcher: A world without any superheroes. That is my purpose. Stain: Is that so? A grin full of malice spreads on Stain's face as he draws his jagged-edge blade. Stain: To remove hope from this world makes you a villain. And that means it's my duty right now to take your life. Butcher is not intimidated in the slightest. A smile full of gleeful sadism fills his face. Butcher: You're going to make this a very fun night for me, mate. Butcher pulls out a crowbar from his jacket and rushes towards Stain. Stain closes the distance and both hero killers clash weapons. (FIGHT)

Billy would instantly win since Stain would be too busy having aneurysm at how much worse the “heroes” in The Boys are. Given that the Boys is a mockery of superheroes. I wanna share this idea of a parody of The Boys (Specifically the Comic) where villains from superhero media like DC, Marvel, Image, TMNT, My Hero Academia, Darkwing Duck, Ben 10, Powerpuff Girls, Danny Phantom, etc. get sent to the Boys universe and cause chaos. You see it’d be a parody since it’d show how screwed The Boys universe would be if it had to deal with the likes of Braniac, Thanos, or Vilgax. Mainly since the Boys comic argues superheroes are not needed despite the fact that the big two alone have designed cosmic level threats.

Oh hey I never thought id see an actually debatable Billy Matchup! With Season 3 he actually has a chance physically speaking The fight starting with Stain wanting to hunt down Billy, him evading te Hero Killer before being put in a corner and resorting to Temp V and it resorting to a slugfest sounds actually cool

It's funny how My Hero Academia and The Boys have such an overlap in matchups given they're pretty much two completely opposite takes of their genre. Not complaining tho, it makes for really interesting matchups and even better songs (now we just need All Might VS Homelander for the completed Trilogy after Compound Engine and this one). Also, No More Heroes is a really cool name for this matchup. I mean, beyond the fact that it made everyone think that it'd be an *actual* No More Heroes (the game) track. What I mean by that is that it has three entire meanings; the first one being the straightforward way because those two kill heroes as a "job", the second one being that those two became what they are now because of what "heroes" did to them or their views on life meaning that they think that there are "no more heroes" in their world and the third one is that those two themselves are no heroes anymore due to the things they've done to achieve their goals. I always love a name with multiple meanings and layers and this one is a prime example of that so I really like it. And this depth even translates to the amazing track art with the red of Butcher's clothes, Stain's scarf, both their weapons and the placeholder hero's cape all being a red color to represent the respective blood they have on all their hands due to the crimes they've done and how those two aren't so different from the heroes they hunt down. It's a really well done detail that's heavily appreciated, adds a lot of personality to this already really unique track art. That aside, let's get to the song itself. And gosh is that thing just as good as its name and track art. So much stuff to say about it that I'm probably gonna forget some stuff and/or glance over some other stuff. I was fully expecting a mix of heavy rock/metal and horror/tense music to fit those two but what ended up being is infinitely better. This song perfectly grasps every side of both characters while being insanely catchy and entertaining. To get a bit more into detail, this is one of those songs where I'll try to roughly go in chronological order. And first things first: the beginning up to 0:30. Really like how it takes the agressive and tense approach but still sounds extremely catchy and melodic. It perfectly gets across how brutal and violent those are but it also reminds, via how melodic it is, that they're not just madmen but actually have a clear motive. It's a really good intro to the song and makes for a perfect "teaser" of what's to come after that. And what's to come after that is even better. Starting at 0:30 we get the first main melody of the song and I love it. I like how it doesn't feel outright evil nor heroic but more so upbeat with a side of seriousness and violence. It fits perfectly those two characters and especially the The Boys side of things as it's exactly the type of music you'd hear fit Butcher. Which makes the following second main melody of the song starting at 0:53 even better as it still fits this same thematic but here it instead sounds more serious and a bit more uplifting to fit Stain better. Those two melodies are heard a lot throughout the song and they make a wonderful duo, especially when combined with the other segments which I'll mention later, as it fits almost every side of the characters and the fact that there's two melodies, each made to fit one of the two, makes this event better as it perfectly shows their similarities but also their differences: they sensibly act the same and for the same reasons but the way they go about doing said things are different in just the ways that they'd be at odds against one another for it. It makes for a wonderful basis for what the song is. After this "introduction" of the characters we then get the next highlight of the song with the break at 1:34-2:01 which I find extremely interesting as it perfectly captures yet another side of those characters: that being the tragic and sad side they have. The segment still feels pretty dynamic, especially with those background claps and percussions heard during it, but it has a clear melancholic and sad side to it which reflects very well how those two behave and are. I also really like how this segment is similar to the heroic melodies you'd heard fitting All Might and Deku in MHA which is a great way to represent how Stain bases his ideals onto All Might and recognized Deku as a true hero. And this brings me to the following parts of the song after the break where this is a bit recurring throughout the song as a whole or at least until 3:01. This whole entire minute and a bit of the song feel way more heroic and upbeat than the rest of the track (helped a lot by the background brass that gives a very heroic vibe to the song), almost as if when fighting those two would recognize the similarities they have between one another and try to display their ideals to the other in an heroic way. This is made even better given that the dominating melody is Stain's at 2:17-2:37 which fits this really well. But of course there's still this overbearing feeling of sadness and violence that's still slightly felt to remind the listener that those definitely are no heroes. Speaking of which this brings to the next segment of the song starting at 3:01. I must say that I really like the way it transitions from the before which is this very heroic and upbeat feeling into the starting very menacing and agressive melody heard at the start of the song which then translates right away to Butcher's melody. It works really well because of course Butcher would be the most self-aware character of the two and bring to light how neither of them are actual heroes but two just guys trying to kill one another. It feels like Butcher brutally stopping Stain from his delusions to fully resume the fight where they try to kill one another and I really like that. Unsurprisingly, this resuming of the actual battle then brings about the climax of the song as the two of them would start getting more serious and unleash their best to try and kill the other starting at 3:31. The fact that this climax isn't nearly as bombastic and energetic but just very intense and serious is a really good showcase of the characters once again to me as it shows how they'd recognize the similarities they have with one another, meaning they wouldn't outright take pleasure in killing the opponent, but that they'd still go as seriously as possible to make sure that they're the one still breathing at the end of this battle. Makes for a really intense, fitting and climactic ending to an already amazing song. Overall this track is one that I fully expected to like from the second I saw it but I definitely didn't expect to like it *that* much. It fits the characters on every possible side, is insanely catchy with a ton of extremely memorable segments (once again special mention for those two main melodies that are just wonderful) and above all it just sounds great all around. Hell, I've sent it to someone I know who's an MHA fan and his first reaction was that he wants more songs with MHA VS The Boys matchups due to how good this one is so this shows the track's quality. Truly wonderful job with this.

Ok cool, I prefer Butcher vs Knuckeduster but this is still a cool matchup I'm betting on Stain, the guy has a great advantage with his speed and quirk, and although Butcher's skin with Temp V is resistant to sharp objects, his eyes, ears and mouth do not have that same level of durability, so Chizome still has ways to get blood (not to mention that he survived an attack from All For One that sent him flying across several blocks so he should take several of Billy's blows without much trouble)

I was JUST thinking about Stain getting a matchup and I think Hero Hunter Garou from One Punch Man would be infinitely better suited for Stain. They’re both from the same media format, both target Heroes using the Hero name (Hunter/Killer) in their title Would be a fun match, even though Garou sweeps, but against Billy Butcher and Stain, Stain takes this easy. Fun thought though!

Oh hey look a battle of hypocrisy (just a joke don't harass me with replies). A very sad sounding track for what would likely be a brutally violent fight.

Whilst at first Billy the Butcher vs Frank the Punisher. Live Action Billy vs Cyclops can work. Both are good guys who at some point develop an extrimist view on another group (Billy hating supes and Cyclops hating non-mutants). Both have eye beam powers and later on a Symbiote/Parasite. Billys Cancer essentially become the Venom symbiote. But Cyclops (well a time displaced version of him) actually temporarily gets his own venom symbiote. So that version could be a fair match (especially if he exclude the Phoemic force and Phoenix Egg which would be unfair as fuck)
