Jerk type of sound has been around for more than a decade now, just that it got the name from the song that go like "you're a jerk". It's not a name that makes sense, but everybody knows that song and how the drums sound, so you get a idea for the sound, befor even listening to it
Burnt means he doesn't like doing that style anymore. It's everytime the same clap/snare with the same pattern, ofc it gets boring. Also the melodies are usually very basic and not that serious/good
it was popular in 2009 and came with a dance called the jerk and the beast consist of high tempos and pretty much dance music. Recently artists like yhappojj, xaviersobased, nettspend and others are popularizing it again (just my definition my fault if i missed sum)

Also they use a lot of meme sound effects cuz the whole genre is one running joke that psychotic underground fans actually think is good
